The only Nerf I see oak needing is letting you cancel his HoL when he's shielded. Too many times I've had to slowly work an oak down to negligable hitpoints remaining, only to have him shield up and HoL while continuing to fight. It's ridiculous. He's easy enough to deal with normally, but I do think there needs to be something done to stop this clearly unfair advantage over other demigods (at least the other demi's need to retreat a bit before popping the heart)

Rooks towers aren't a problem really. They can seem to get out of hand if you just ignore rook, or give him time to farm up, but if you agressively chase him off of setting up a farm he's pretty easy to manage. He is pretty squishy for his size, and quite slow/easy to harass. The real problem with rook is when you let him get away on you and build a huge tower farm in a tactically important point of the map. And Stop saying QoT needs a buff! she's fine as is! She has her role and s

There should be a secret carnival shop that only assassins can use. There are 4 games to play: Rook: Strength tester - have to hammer slam a pressure sensitive plate and make the bell ring Regulus: Shooting Gallery - Have to knock down as many tin ducks as possible with an air rifle. Torchbearer: Has to knock over three stacked milk bottles using fireball. Has 3 shots at it. Unclean Beast: Uses spit to pop balloons, chance of being prize behind. When you win a game

-When rook throws his boulder, he should bowl it down the lanes, and if it hits a group of creeps and kills them all, a big alert should come across the screen saying "strike!" and the bodies are cleared from the lane. Each consecutive strike builds up your gold bonuses on the next lot of creeps you kill with that attack

I played a game against an erebus player a while ago who must have been putting most of his skill points into minion abilities, then he had bought and resold one of each idol, so he had 4 minotaurs, 4 archers and 4 priests. Now First time i saw him rock up with this army (he hadn't appeared anywhere important until about lvl 5) I was scared half to death. Expected him to kill me, quicksmart. I figured I may as well move up to try and clear out some of his minions (at least the idol ones he ha

-Erebus' nightstalkers should dance in a conga line when following him around the map. All friendly Creeps have a 15% chance to join the conga line. If you have two erebus conga lines in one game, the game changes to top view and the players battle off in a 'snake' minigame.

Plenor battlecrown is a great item, If I'm forced back to base for whatever reason, I will most probrably pick it up before HoL, and resell it later (or just hold onto it if it seems to be sufficient. I have to agree with you that Lvl 4 monk idol is important, but that's why I normally sell off my second helm to grab Heart of life. When I said that a purely defensive build doesnt help your ally get the kill, I mean that your opponent knows when he wants to run, and as a purely defensi

ahh, yep I did indeed misunderstand. However, it seems strange to me that you are so mana starved. What Item build do you go with Queen? by the time I make 2000 I normally grab myself a flemish faceguard, and that keeps me sated till I buy my heart. I dont find myself going back to base often at all. However, it requires careful micromanagement of mana. Normally I only spike up creep waves that give me a clear advantage, (pushing into enemy towers). It seems less selfish to go p

I play a lot of queen of thorns, and I have to say I completely agree. Not only is Uproot outshone by the endeavours of other demigods in pushing down towers, but it's even outshone by queens own other open form abilities for doing pretty much the same job. I was thinking something like an earthquake spell would be cool, one that you channel, and it slows units and damages buildings within a radius. Could still call it uproot, and it's something that gets a similar job done, but

Don't be so selfish! Remember that ground spikes, though it has small initial damage, is helping your team as well as you. Laning with an unclean beast? You can assist him in getting a kill pretty damn fast just by dropping your opponents armour. If they haven't bought defensive items, you can pretty easily drop their armour below 0 and stack on ridiculous damage through your ally's DPS. I admit, you have a point, but I think that point is one of playstyle. I'd encourage you to try ou

The clear disadvantage to sitting in closed form is that you have to change to use your open form abilities. You can be open and still have shield up, and as long as shield is up, the slight delay of changing forms to gain use of your defensive abilities shouldnt hurt you with proper situational awareness. However, if you remain open, the first moment that an enemy demigod comes near, you can spike away. If your opponent stays around for a game of attrition, then just go into closed form to m
Also, 90% of the time for closed form is an understatement. ... I'm not denying the importance or the usefulness of the open form spells here, I'm just saying closed should be the default whether you're sure or unsure of your position.
I don't know if I'd really advocate using closed form that much. Yes, it's important to have shield up, that's why I encourage Queen of Thorns players to switch back
Shield should be the top priority. It saves your teammates asses. In all Honestly, Spikes is the last set of skills i upgrade when i'm after level 15. I don't do mulch, and I use a primarely support build. The only question i have for myself is I usually go allthe way in compost, but I honestly have no idea how much of an effect it has on my minions. (I don't do uproot, i feel as if its a waste). <br /

I'm a big time QoT player as well, and I think she's easily one of the stronger heroes if built right. First off, spikes is one of the best abilities in the game IMO (not quite on the level of erebus' bite, but still very good) I think what people fail to take into account is that spikes doesn't just mean that you're doing more damage. It lowers their armour, so your minions, as well as the random creeps on the map, and your allied heroes are all doing increased damage. On top of that, it has
