Ok.. Im trying to get my copies of SINS working again.. Sadly not all were purchased the same way. 1. SINS - Hard copy purchased from store and installed through impulse(now gamestop) 2. Entrenchment - Did not have a Credit Card when it came out and had my cousin purchase it for me through this site. I was always able to register the code through impulse before(cant seem to do it with gamestop) 3. Diplomacy - Purchased through Impulse So I can installed the main game.. But o

Pirates are uber hard lol. Full fleet of cap ships(not max level) 75+ ships mixed carriers and what not.. Totally out numbered them.. ended up falling back losing 4 caps and 85% of my fleet.. And barely did anything to them.

Finally got the game downloaded(2nd attempt) and installed.. go to start it up and the bloody servers are down

Here is my first model attempt using Google SketchUp.. I cant use any other programs.. too complcated for me haha.. This is nice and simple for me.. Its not really complete as im sure you'll be able to tell. The opening down the middle is a launch pad bay for fighters.. The empty spots in the back will be where the engines go when i model them in and the 2 things around them will be some sort of rotating gun. <img src

54$ for me woo meh.. I played WoW but never paid a dime.. free servers :P but atleast with this game.. its just 60 bucks.. no 40$ addons ya need to buy to play with everyone else. oh well. From what i've seen i'll be more interested in this game than i was WoW. And im not a huge startrek fan either.

i bought it on impulse yesterday.. started the download.. it went most of the day and all night.. Get up in the morning.. pc was locked up and had to start the download again :(

As i said.. it works with diplomacy.. so it'll probably work for Entrenchment.. Isnt hard to just copy the folder to the new patch mod folder and test it.

yea.. Thats why i suggested turning the dip rate down.. I know its in the options.

Yay.. Diplomatic Victory the first game.. Note.. If you turn it on and play a game with 150+ planets.. i suggest turning the dip rate down. Or its too easy lol. 3.5 hours with 150+ planets and didnt take out any AIs.

Im glad it works.. cause i almost cant stand watching a fleet fight without this mod on.. lacks so much

FYI, This mod works with full release of Diplomacy.. well.. so far atleast after 20 min of play

So im interested in starting to just doing some ship modeling.. Im not really wanting to get them into the game itself(maybe at a later time or give the models away if they are good enough etc) But im trying to find the more simple programs.. I've acquired a few that were posted in various posts but dont really find them all too 'simple' Zbrush, autodesk 3ds 2009, and blender. I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out where to start with each program. Or if there are better simple

I've only bought 3 PC games.. so i guess they're my worst?? COD4 SINS Star Craft battlechest.. although those arnt bad games haha

I got BSOD with vista.. but that wasnt because of vista.. it was because i needed to update my bios.. I had the same issues when i tried running XP(before i figured out i needed to update my bios) But my pc would just reboot in xp.. no bsod(and i turned off the auto reboot too) Other than the bios problem i've had ZERO problems with Vista.. No software issues.. nothing.. People just need to learn how to use it properly.. and it isnt even very hard.

If you have the CD.. you just just install 1.0 version on all the pcs as it doesnt require CDkeys to install. Although im not too sure about the patches. I havent tried it on my 2nd pc yet.. well i have but impulse doesnt install properly and crashes.

I've just started getting one too in a bigger sized game.. Strangely enough its just loading the game from my own saved file.. but i can load from the auto saved fine. I just lose 15 min of gameplay.
