Yes, the two faction cap is silly and easily one of the dumbest design choices. Brad even references that the unit count for the current faction is 15, the "same as Starcraft 2", yet that means little as Ashes only plans to have two factions, where SC2 obviously has 3 and each are very distinct. Another faction of hover tanks that employ shields as their gimmick leaves me feeling that these guys don't know w

So i may consider buying this from steam early access, but i wonder how playable is it going on my computer. No point in buying game which wont run well even on low settings, that would bring only more frustration. So my specs are: Core i7 980x currently @ stock speed / can OC it to 3,8 GHz if needed 24 GB DDR3 1333 GTX 580 1,5GB / GTX 590 - currently running and will be for foreseeable future borrowed 580, cause my own 590 is undergoing repairs, as it st

I did buy all 3 aforementioned games and while i did not play them enough to be completely fair judge of them, i still think me spending money on them gives me right to voice my opinion, even if some people may disagree with my views... i guess i mostly want to vent my frustration, cause there is a good reason, why i did not play them that much, as all of them pretty much suck, for various reasons. anyway, good thread. Nice to see i am not alone to waste money on those 2 games, LOL. But at least i supported RTS devs, hopefully next time they will see that oldschool does not cut it anymore - except for StarCraft. If Ashes of Singularity and Cossacks 3 will be released at least in some form already this year, those may be very likely 2 more strategies i will buy. If however i will find both lacking, i will probably have to conclude the issue may be with me (not feeling it anymore) and never buy

Probably too late to the party, but i am bored anyway, so.... 1. My favourite RTS is Rebellion, so i am looking for games like that. The special thing about it is the scale, combined with the fact, you not only deal with classic RTS elements like combat and harvesting, but need to do all that fairly complex research (in terms of RTS), then there is trade, culture, diplomacy etc... simply it makes you feel bit more like an emperor, rather than fleet admiral, what is sort of unique and

I am not a founder, but if i may suggest something. except obligatory addition of navy, please consider making planes, or at least bombers work the way they work in Command and Conquer games, i mean they should require airfield they need to return to, everytime they drop their payload. Like Century Bombers in Red Alert 3 for example. Dont make it work like SupCom, where they just fly around battlefield in circles ad infinitum and bomb everything, until someone shoots them down... <
I think I finally saw the review being referenced. It's from a well respected member here and I agree with most of his comments other than the weight he puts on them. The game is still in its early stages and is being refined as we speak. The problems listed aren't a game killer other than the AI issue, which I haven't seen. For the games I've played and including my current one, the AI seems to b

yes please we need competitive AMD otherwise well be stuck with 4-core CPUs from intel in mainstream till eternity... just consider: 2005 first dual-core CPUs popped up, cca 2007/2008 the quads became mainstream, 2010 i happened to have the luck to buy the first 6-core CPU from Intel...5 years later the best consumer CPU you can buy is 8-core and even that is Extreme Edition (disregarding now AMD´s double-module CPUs as 8-cores)... granted you can only gain from increasi

Would be nice to know, what exactly do they consider as small phones, etc... i can only guess that 4inch is the border line between small and medium, while 5inch or 5,5 between medium and phablets... Regardless, i hope that with next generations of their products Apple will acknowledge the existence of people like me, who are not into big phones and replace their 5S model from their current line-up with some kind of iPhone 7 Mini or whatever they would want to call it. You should have done the game with starships. Robots do not excite me. [e digicons]:)[/e] Otherwise it sounds interesting, I like innovation, so i am looking forward to see some gameplay - maybe i will be swayed to give it a try myself, robots or not....
