What to you mean by "attach"... combine object is ok but bridging object is not ok... by the way, segmenting is more easy when made with separated object... just combine for the UV...
Uh frankly im not sure if i can explain what i mean by attaching...you do not work with 3dsmax, right? in 3DSmax one of the functions of object collapsed to editable poly/ editable mesh is attach....it literally does what it
Quoting Timmaigh, reply 291 I dont understand the transparent surface thing though, how do you mean it? I suppose best way to find out if the model works properly ingame is to try to import it. Is there any simple way to do it? Without textures or hardpoints or whatever is orherwise needed? I remember back in the BETA days before the offficial modding tools were launched there was a fan made Mesh Importer, which i used to import one of
@Zvezdochets I don't know what good the interceptor would be for, as it would be (I suppose) older and therefore weaker than the Tiger, which is already incredibly weak. There would also be the problem whoch ship to attach to, as a ship can only have a max of 4 different fighter types, and they are already used up. @ Harpo99999 No, updating the entity.manifest is not necessary for the mod. There seem
Quoting Timmaigh, reply 281I´m glad you like it. The mesh summary info in 3ds max reads 3963 faces in the scene, so i suppose thats it. From the picture you have post, the model is mainly made of quad... so, in theory when triangulate, it will be around 8k... i say in theorie because on your screenshot, the vertical wings have no quad or triangle... simply a big surface with a lot of edges... anyway, if you are
Looks awesome. How many triangles? We should stay within a limit of 10-15k triangles (not polygons - as that could be quads as well). If you can keep to this limit (even better 10-12k) this model is gorgeous!! Thanks alot.
I´m glad you like it. As to the Vorchan - Well, help is appreciated, but unfinished models will not be of help I think, as for everything to fit together, I feel it is better to start from scratch or have a model where there are just some Details missing. Thanks nevertheless.
I am aware that unfinished model is no use to you. [e digicons]:)[/e] So as i said, i finished it today.&
Sorry for the confusion with " alt="" /> thing in the previous post, i tried to insert image, but i didnt work and it cant be removed now. Anyway, if you copy-paste the link, it should work correctly.
Hi guys, looking forward to this MOD, Babylon 5 is perhaps my favourite Sci-fi TV show alongside DS9. If you are interested, I found on my drive Centauri Vorchan model, i started to do few years ago and never finished. So i am willing to finish it now and then if you want its all yours. Right now it looks like this: http://s260.photobucket

I do think that Starcraft is the 'best', in the sense that I've had more fun playing it than any other game; and as as for Blizzard, I rate them above Relic since they haven't released a game that hasn't been fantastic during the time I've been following them. That said, if I don't enjoy Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3, I

Starcraft is brutally overrated, it is great game indeed, but far from best. And the blind faith of Blizzard fanatic supporters is beyond belief. I noticed it on the Escapist message boards during that Developer competition. After Ironclad failed to advance i voted in the Blizzard vs Relic round and the Blizzard fanboys on the forum were utter tw*ts, saying Relic is no match for Blizzard, cause Blizzard made Diablo and Starcraft, which is even today played by trillion Koreans and blah b
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of Earth - action FPS adventure with few RPG aspects and fantastic atmosphere, normally i do not play this kind of games, so when i recommend it, it is really worth to try Star Command Revolution - great space RTS from 1997, i never needed DOSBOX or anything to run it under XP, but my friend werent so succesful, so maybe you might need it too. Again, the game is absolute gem with IMHO the best SP campaign alongside Homeworld. It is pretty tough game as we
Quoting Timmaigh, reply 31I think they should get Star Trek or Babylon 5 license and create new game like Sins, only based on one of these fictional universes. They will earn sh*tloads of money and everyone will be happy. This is a great idea, actually. The only problem, of course, would be working out a licensing agreement. The owners of the Star Trek IP would of course want a large percentage of the profits.&n

The Borg will be fun, but I'm really interested to see how the team will incorporate both beam and pulse weapons for them, as the D'deridex is seen using both. Not only that, I'm wondering what their high stat(s) will be. I don't expect cloaking since they never really got that working, but the Romulans have always been my favorite supporting

I swapped about year ago my old MSI socket939 mobo and Athlon64 3200+ for Gigabyte p35 and C2D E8400 + 4 GB DDR2 and no OS reinstall was needed. Later I could even overclock the CPU to 3,6 GHz without any problems. But maybe i just got lucky.
While OP´s behavior here is hardly what you call polite, i agree with him, that diplomacy might end up bit pointless even with the new features. Ironclad claims Sins is RT4X, but i think it is safe to say, it is mainly RTS. At least for me personally Sins is bit more complex version of Conquest Frontier Wars, which was definitely RTS. And as you surely know, one of the most important aspects of RTS games is balance. Playing with unlocked teams, which is essential, if you want to utilize
My favourite ST ship is Dominion Battlecruiser (not Battleship).
Babylon 5 - for its main story plot Star Trek DS9 - for many quality and serious filler episodes and epic space battles Stargate - both of them - for probably the most likeable characters The most disappointing for me were Gene Roddenbery´s other sci-fi series - Andromeda and Earth Final Conflict - IMO both started brilliantly, but eventually turned to utter rubbish. Especially Andromeda.

I'll ad Jethro Tull, Allman Brothers, Beach Boys, Jefferson Airplane/early Jefferson Starship, Cold Blood, ELP, Genesis, Cream, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, The Pretenders and Black Sabbath.
Yes for me, but it is difficult choice indeed. Next month im planning to attend Jon Anderson´s solo concert

5. Conquest Frontier Wars 4. Sins of a Solar Empire + Entrenchment - i only wish there was a Star Trek or Babylon 5 "remake" of this game 3. Star Command Revolution - great, yet to many people unknown game, completely addictive and with original gameplay 2. Command and Conquer Series - especially its Red Alert part + Zero Hour multiplayer 1. Homeworld Series, especially the first one - best game ever (with Pro Evolution Soccer) for me
