I got the mod to show up in the mod menu, I hit enable mod, and when I hit apply changes the game freezes..

I downloaded forge.. What do I edit? The files in the forge folder, or the ones in the game dir? do I copy them into the game dir?
Alright. what about ship cap? Would I be able to edit cap ship cap and ship cap so that after the first reasearch the limit would go up?
Would anyone mind explaining to me how to remove capital ship limits and change build speed of things?

No not explode twice.. Send out shockwave, this would replace the lvl2 upgrade at lvl 3, but would still do 8000 damage After it does that, the base is offline and in limbo. It can't shoot, but it can still be destoried by anything left after the initial blast. After 20 seconds, it explodes for 8000 damage again
Add a third upgrade. It will deal the damage as the lvl 2 upgrade would, then 20 seconds later, it would do it agan. It gives time for cap ships to fall back to get owned =p

Do they gain expierence more slowly with other caps nearby? As in, would a capital gain more exp by taking out the nutural planets guards by itself rather then with 5 other capitals?
I made a map for two players, equal on both sides (many fire/ice/terran planets) for both players, and about 30 rows of pirate planets (so capitals would both be a fairly high level and it would prevent any major fights untill mid/late game. I've been mainly playing as TEC, as I've only just gotten the game, but I've done a few as advent to get the feel of them. I've tried no games with vasari because, quite frankly, the unit voices are horrible. At least im my opinion.. Would anyone be so kind as to tell me some special things about them? Like how the TEC has the superweapon that can kill planets from far away, what is unique about the vasari? And would anyone be kind
I like the idea of a super ship, late game only. Maybe, ALL offense and defense reasearch is done JUST to unlock it, requires a terran planet to build (it builds ON the planet), takes 4 mins to build, and for the duration, the planet provides NO taxes, no recourses, and cant build anything else. Maybe have it cost 40k cash, 25k metal and 15k crystal, for each fraction, and it starts out with 10k shield/15k hull points, and caps out at lvl 5 with 50k shield 70k hull =p &

Whenever I build a starbace, anywhere, that planet is stuck in my empire tree... It is really annoying on maps where each player has their own 5-10 planet long asteroid belt and I put starbaces on them for trade routs, they get stuck on my empire tree.. how do I disable this?
