Grenades also get a slow. And Reg has a passive for it too. Sure, the slow is nice, but feels kind of redundant when you look at Reg's other skills, their costs and their recharges.
Redundancy is your friend in this game. Stacking so much slow that is puts DGs on moonwalk gets even HP stackers killed. Makes it a lot easier to gank someone when your teammate is in another lane.
Doo Ende
Wow, I just really really hope people follow OP's advice and come charging at me. That would be real nice, spitting on them then turning on Ooze.
I'd would only try it with Sedna, since she gets many other passives and she's harder to kill, but UB is squishy and benefits greatly from going health stacking to stay in the fight doing more damage (not that Sedna doesn't benefit from that, mind you, she's THE tank).
I've seen QoT players hold their own in 2v1s. Her ability to survive and deny kills to the other team would probably lead to an early advantage in levels and warscore. If both players focus on that advantage instead of "killing doods" (unless it's slaughter), lock flags and generally be a pain in the ass, my guess is that by mid game they'd have a reasonable shot at winning.
Ehh, I've stopped using the thing altogether. I'd probably use it with Oak for the combo, and QoT too (maybe). Maybe Erebus, since I could proooobably do without tele scrolls. But otherwise I can hardly justify the room for it. My mid to late game inventory looks like this Capture Lock Teleport Scroll Sigil of Vitality The first one, to LOCK THE F****** FLAG. The second one, while LOCKING THE F****** FLAG, you can get out, go to the other side and LOCK ANOTHE
JagerJack: Symbol of Purity has a 30sec cooldown and Spit has a 7sec one. That's 3 spits that are gonna get thru. Not a good counter really. Using Blood of the Fallen and stacking HP is a better way to counter Spit and Ooze.
Sadly damage items do not escalate as well as HP items. The only advice I can give you is to do that yourself since everyone can. Then focus fire on one demigod at a time, using stuns and slows.
How old are you? R: 24 What gaming experience do you have?/How often will you play during a week R: medium experience, daily Do you have a mic? R: yes Are you willing to user Ventrillio? Maybe increase the favor gained for Participant? To say 50? At any rate, playing a stacked game can be sooo frustrating at times. I RAGE when someone in my team has 0-10. I don't QUIT though, because I know it sucks when someone leaves, but sometimes I wish there was a less painful way of leaving a game you no longer wish to stay in. I really hope they enable the Concede option sooner.
Maybe make the damage bonus work against DGs only?
AoE is the best way to go, or fight him at the towers. TB: Like, everything but Fireball and Deep Freeze UB: Ooze, Putrid Flow Regulus: Mines Rook: Towers and Hammer Slam Oak: minions and Surge of Faith? QoT: ground spikes, spike wave, minions Sedna: minions? Erebus: I'm guessing mass charm and your minions... haven't played much with him
Rendari, no ammount of Health is enough. Wand of Speed is enough speed. You don't want in and outs, you're not harassing, you're getting there fast, and if they stay they die, if they go we get more warscore. It's no Ooze build wh ere you need to be in contact, you got Spit's range too. If you need to run because you're getting teamed upon, hit the exit button in your use inventory. If you feel the need for speed that much tho, I guess you can get Boots of Speed and replace Banded Arm
I've wanted to like Bestial Wrath. Really. But it just doesn't measure up with either Venom Spit or Ooze. And Bestial Wrath's animation besically being FALCON PUUUUUUNCH doesn't help one bit.
Ok, so we all know Venom Spit is great. Ooze is mostly underestimated but people that has experience with it knows it's pretty good. I used to go with Early Spit (1-10) - Late Ooze (11-14), so I could handle the self-damage later in the game, but I realized I don't really need to. Passives are good but they aren't great until you max them out. So what the hell, I thought, why not just take all damage skills, all HP equips, and screw whoever comes thinking I'm just gonna spit and run? The resu
Yea, the only way I can (half) successfully kill Sedna as an UB is with a teammate. I try to spit her right after she heals for the first time and use my timer to try to interrupt with Foul Grasp. Not always successful but if you stun earlier, your teammate gets another 2secs of punching time to try to budge her +5k HP. It works even better if the other guy has stun too. But of course Sedna loves the crowd and the crowd loves Sedna, so you can expect not to find her alone most of the
Normally, as UB, I'm not afraid of any Assasin at all unless he's some levels above me or he has company. They can stack HP but so do I, and if I can spit and engage at say, at a middle flag on Cataract they have to run or die. Actually I never seem to have problems against Assassins. It's the Generals that are a pain. Well, good players playing them. Mid-late Oak is baaad news, Sedna, I can't kill her alone, neither QoT bramble shielding again and again while the other DG pounds me. Let's no
Yea, I think there shouldn't be a bonus to chaining towers. Rook tower farm's weakness is that he can't set forward right away, he has to start behind and work his way forward or he gets creamed by better DG killers. If the towers could link, it'd mean Rook could set up behind then push forward without losing time because his forward towers would carry the power (or bonuses) of those behind. And on Towers being useless late game: no they're not. Even if they're not as effective, if yo
As UB, since you're not using Ooze outside of fighting, and fighting doesn't take more than 10-20 seconds before someone runs early game, getting more HP instead of HPS is a more valuable investment early on. So I get Nimoth Chest Armor first instead of Hauberk or Boots because it adds more modified health due to armor mitigation (improving Hauberk and Boots modified health also, but more importantly, boosting my modified health from ~4000 to ~5800 by using Blood of the Fallen and Bander Armo
Gauntlets only drain 100 mana. At 15% that's just a bad bad item. Warlord's Punisher burns 400 mana but has a 30sec cooldown. I dunno, I just tell whoever is with me to ignore Sedna and focus on the other DG she's always with because that one can't be healed as fast. Unless it's Oak and it Shields and HoL. It's a nasty matchup. Once the other dude is down we can force her to retreat if we aren't too weakened.
Yea, it makes Sedna virtually impossible to kill in a 1v1 if the game goes long (or like past 15mins) because besides the HP and armor stacking, she gets 44hps from skills, plus another 50hps if she's under 30% health, plus what the items give her, plus her lvl hps. And then she heals for 1500 every 7secs (not counting Magnificent Presence). You need a combination of 2+ DGs and stuns (and balls because she always has company) just to get her to retreat. Maybe if we had more powerful mana
As an UB, I go try to keep spitting on Rook as much as possible, getting mana hats to keep up the spam. He'll use transfer to try to counter, but it has a horrible cooldown and eats up his defense, in which case, you come out winning as he retreats and you can wail on the forest and force him back. Putrid Flow is like the absolute comeback skill against tower rooks, sadly, it's lv15 and by that time, he's pushing the portals. When I play Rook I just counter this by lining my towers as
Wolf? Bear? Diablo II LOD? Hehe. Yea, if a Mage is in the makes, a Druid would also be a cool and kinda logical addition. Power of Nature anyone?
Waiting but dunno if I'll use it.
Deep Freeze is an interrupt. I'd get that earlier, probably at lv6 instead of Fire Nova.
God. I was expecting a real strategy I've been dying to get better at The Rook for a while now, but nothing I do seems to work with him... while on the other hand, I've been hosed by AI who properly aim his hammer attack, and spawn a hundred towers; while when I try either, I only hit with the hammer radius, and every time I get a tower up, it is promptly destroyed. And on top of those, he's so slow, and other demigods seem t
