What is BSG anyway?
To answer your question it stands for Battlestar Galactica. My opinion, blaah. It is pointless in a "lets see how people will turn utter bad in a bad situation like lord of the flies" way. Anyway, on a different note on the whole cheveron squences, all the series are wrong. Watch the original movie again. They dial 7 cheverons to get to the desert planet (abydos or something), which

Actually I have seen a mod that includes Banner of the Stars in part. Although I guess I would like to see a Banner of the Stars mod. Anyway, here is a link to the mod I was talking of. It is called Vermillion sector. http://www.moddb.com/mods/vermillion-sector
Monk's Wife I never said Canadian doctors were martyrs, nor did I say you were suggesting communism. I mearly used it as one of my examples. There is another factor that does come into play; how much are the employers willing to pay. The wage of a worker is a compromise between what a person is willing to work for, and how much do they think they are worth. Now, I do not remember off the top of my head about nurses, but I do know that all public school teachers, law enforcemen
Something of interest, the Founding Fathers used greed to their advantage. That is why it is a capitalist society. Don't misunderstand me, they were Idealist as well. They believed that all mankind have good in them, but they understood that you will not get people to work their best just for the greater good. To work hard and to put your best in the work for the greater good is a wonderfull idea and works brilliantly on paper, but unfortunatly it requires a great deal of mora
You know, I think that if we truly were a "judeo-christian" nation, we wouldn't go into any war. Why? One of the ten commandments is "thou shalt not kill." You can't get any clearer than that.
Actually you can. I believe that if you go to the original Hebrew text it translates to more of a 'Thou shalt not murder' which makes even more since when you realize that the Lord did command the Israelites to destroy several very wicked nations.
Yes that is the basis of politics, how much power, control, and money can you get. Something to consider is a saying the George Washington had "Government is like fire, a usefull servant but a fearful master". For those who do not understand what he was saying I will try to explain it with a metaphor. Your are camping in the woods without a camp stove, so you make a small fire to cook your food. The fire also gives you light at night and helps keep away the various creatures t
Hey EvilleJedi, I was looking at your unit list and saw that the CIS missle frigate still didn't have a model. Here is one I found on filefront, http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/CIS_Missile_Frigate;101833 I don't know if you can use it though because it is for Empire at War. Hope it helps.
Here is an idea, make the lf like the so called superlings of starcraft. Early game, they make a good rusher but are still fragile. Then late game give them several upgrades and they are very very deadly in large numbers. Whether it is abilities or better upgrades for armor and weapons just something that makes a tad bit more useful. Right now I mainly use them almost all game like I use midgame zerglings, something to distrac
I agree with Raging Amish, Tremors: The Series. Loads of fun that was cut short [e digicons]X([/e] General Homsar, I just looked and apparantly they haven't but there was a plan to release them on July 22, 2008. In May of that year it was canceled or put on hold [e digicons]8C[/e] [e digicons]>:([/e] [e digicons]XO[/e] (please ignore the screams of frustration and anger)
MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries. There is this one mission that you have to scout out three buildings and stand by them for around a minute each. The trick is that you have to remain unseen and undetected to have anything close to and "easy time" scanning the buildings. It is really hard to stay undetected because they have patrols that walk right by the building and there is almost nowhere you can stand by that building and not be seen.
I am like jcjames in that I have never bothered to name my caps ships. Normally I am like "You, yes you in charge of this fleet under this hotkey #, lead my ships to VICTORY!, whatever your name is." Although, I think I might try to name some of my ships, after they have proven themselves (aka won victories and gained levels.)
I agree and they are also useful late game, unlike lf's. Mainly because in the end game you can make what a friend of mine called superlings out of them when you research all their upgrades. The lf's, well......ya enough said.
I agree that the lf is really worthless. Infact I just use 5 or so as a meat shield for my main fleet. Anyway, the talk of the free cap ship reminded me of a mod I have been watching called Dawn of Victory (heres to the url http://www.moddb.com/mods/dawn-of-victory) it is looking really cool and it actually makes it so you have to research your cap and super cap ships so they are only late game. They have also added corvet, and destroyer classes so you have a much wider range of ships
Dr. Casey Matthews : [ about the gun Tyler is holding ] Is that necessary? Tyler: Half the time it's not enough. [ about his car stereo ] Larry: I bought it to impress girls, but all I got was hearing loss. BurtTo the baseball team loading old muskets: Powder then ball. If yo
So then it must only be in Star Wars Requiem because that was the mod I was using at the time. Oh well, would have cool if it did move in the original game.
I am perfectly serious and in all truthfullness I found out because I was bored and wondering why they even have the move command for the starbase.
I found out something, All starbases can move. Well actually I have only tried it with the TEC starbase. Though it only moves about the speed of a two ton elephent in a pool full of concrete, but it does move. Try it if you don't believe me. Although I would suggest to give it the move order, see where it is in relation to everything else, then leave it alone for several minutes then come back and see where it is in relation to everything else then. It probably won't have moved far bu
