didnt do a damn thing. I have the same upload speed and I still cant even 3v3. Its horrible. I dont see how this patch fixed anything with bandwith or connectivity issues espiaclly since they stated it would help low end DSL users.
I have verizon DSL My router is a Westell 6100 my connection is DSL The problem I am having is sustaining GOOD ping while in a 3v3 match. Just now I was in lobby with 6 players maintaining 100ms. Once the game was launched my ping would shoot from 120 to 1.1k constantly and it was impossible to play. They have been other games where in the lobby my ping reachs 20k just in lobby with 6 players. I am aware that my upload speed is horrid but I was under the impression tha
I dont see how online connectivty and bandwith has been fixed at all. I see no improvement. I am still getting ridiculous ping even with 4 people in lobby. 10k ping. I was hoping this improvement would fix connection issues for lower end dsl subscribers (as was stated) but its the same thing lol. My upload is horrid but the significant drop of bandwith and improvement of connection should at least be noticable. Even for me.

I was thinking the same thing when I first played the game. I tried clicking on it but nothing happend. I assumed the reason they didnt make it that way because it would get in the way of moving around and you could accidently click on the minimap. Thats just my thoughts

to be honset with you..i really hate crysis..crysis warhead was so anticlimatic and i didnt enjoy it at all..and crysis was so boring in the beggining..so meh.

this next patch should accomidate people (including myself) with lowend dsl connections and isdn lines. So basically people with crappy upload speeds will be able to play possibly 3v3 finally. Well see how much of an improvent it is. As of now im only stuck doing 2v2 and cant even experience the 5v5 epic battles =\. But hopefully this update will provide a suffiecient decrease in there bandwith usage :)
Reduced bandwidth requirements so people with ISDN and low end DSL have a better experience this made me smile :)
I just called in to check some charges on my account and it shows that stardock charged me twice for demigod but i only have one copy. Is there a direct number i can call stardock or what should i do? I need this fixed ASAP.
i dont lag on wow at all..never drop from games on wow..never dropped on company of heroes..or starcraft..or dota..i play cod4 just fine..gears of war just fine aswell..umm battleforge fine..pretty much every game i own just fine online except this one..no lag..no drops..sometimes even 30ms..so whats makes this game any different?..and why would they make these changes in the new patch if they didnt notice that this is a problem? Well it starts of good. I really look forward to play the game so i start it up to join a multiplayer game. In this case i join a game with a host that lives in New jersey and i live in NYC. no one is on my network at all..and nothing is running..what happens is when i join a game with maybe about 1 person in lobby..my ping is fine at about 72 ms 50 even..but as soon as more people start joining up my ping skyrockets..at one time 4 people joined at once and i guess it was connected to all of those people..and bam my ping shot up to 10k..another thing is when i join a game that already has 5 people say sitting in lobby my ping is ridiculously high..it shouldnt be 10ping even with
well if you actually read about what people are posting about not connecting or getting excessive pings in game when they connect its legitimate beef. I mean I and many many many other people have Gone through all of the steps pushed out by SD and the crew. Forwarding ports using /serverproxyonly or w.e and still encountering problems. The more people i connect to the more my MS goes up. I was in a lobby with 1 person today waiting for people to join and my ping was at at steady 70ms. As soon as more people started to connect my ping began to skyrocket to the thousands and then i was kicked. Also when i join a game that has lets say 4 people already in lobby my ping shoots up to almost 10k at times. And they are in my location which is US East. How can I play multiplayer? serouisly..i would like to enjoy this game.The game
if you want to compare graphics of course demigod wins..hands down..but if you want to compare gameplay and actual compatibility..im gonna have to go with DOTA because they are so many damn issues with connectivity in demigod..i mean i cant even join a game without getting 10kping while connecting with players on us east..and i live in NYC..the multiplayerr aspect of DG still needs ALOT of work because half of the people who bought the game cant even play online yet.
I have used Port forwarding with the correct ports, Inserted the /serverproxyonly command in the targetline of the shortcut,and inserted the ports into the impulsereaction.exe and still I get an excess of 10k ping when connecting with players. Sometimes I cannot even connect to a game because it takes forever for me to connect with other players. Im sorry to say but this whole p2p system is flawed. It only accomidates some people. no idea wth is going on here. Everytime join a game tehy see me at 10kping. And i join games that are hosted in US EAST and i live on the east coast. This is freaking ridiculous. replays are key in any competative game..got to have a point of reference and to see some crazy good games..only way youll build up a player base..also people bitching about issues need to realize that this is stilla new game and no new patch

Hey just started playing Demigod and i have to say i am HOOKED. Im looking for some people to play with as everyone I know either plays WoW or counterstrike. I played DOTA alot and Starcraft back in the day competativly. Also was in a CS LAN team and I play Battleforge aswell. Just hit me up on this post.
