I recently got a new laptop along with sins of a solar empire, which happens to be completely awesome. Anyways, 1 day of Vista is enough for me and I've already decided to switch over to Ubuntu (Linux) and my CD is arriving in the mail. My question is, since I've already installed Sins of this OS, what are my options? Do I have the ability to transfer it over to Linux, or would I have to buy another disk just to play it on Linux. And now that I think of it, would I even be able to run Sins on

Well that's good news. What I'm wondering is my graphics card going to make a difference in that graphics? I've played this game at my friends house and he has a... GeForce 7800 or something maybe 8000 something, but he has a faster processor. Will my game run better with the better graphics card, or is that more dependant on overall processor or performance?

I've been following this game for a couple weeks and needless to say I am super stoked, this looks like it is going to ruin my social life for a couple months and a I can't wait to get it.
