It's quite demotivating to check out the demigodthegame.com and glance at the "Recent Community Posts" table, and all you see is doomsday topics. Kinda gives off a bad vibe. Spoiled community and failed game. I don't play Demigod anymore because I agree with all those posts, but I shut the hell up because I know it's not helping, and it only serve to scare more people away from the game. I rather have new players being curious about the game; maybe some of 'em will like it and ignore

To add to the list of great games with potend multiplayer that just...died out... Unreal Tournament 3. The history of the Unreal franchise is a tricky one. Despite often being referred to as tech-demos for the new Unreal Engines, the UT series actually have some really nice gameplay mechanics and a dedicated community. UT99 was a huge success and even featured at WCG two years in a row. Even though overshadowed by Quake3, UT99 survived the test of time and it's

This doodle page was drawn a few months back when I first got my hands on Demigod. Came to think of it when I saw this thread. Harr harr harr.

Sorry but I highly doubt you've even played HoN after reading this. There's a lot of new heroes with more being released almost weekly (altho

My guess would be that the HoN playerbase will go back to DotA when HoN goes live. Why pay for a game that you can play for free (WC3 costs excluded)? Demigod is something else, converting the MOBA concept into somethin

The work Lagwar.com is doing to promote the esport side of Demigod is fantastic, and you should be ashamed that you fail to see that. People like you is the reason the Demigod community is starting to look more and more like the DotA scene. Hail Lagwar.com for doing this. It's g

You can end a slaughter gamemode by destroying the enemy citadel. Though I doubt this will ever occur in a real match, the game-mechanics does allow the citadel to fall, and though that trigger the match to end (declaring the owner of the fallen citadel as defeated). Just ran a test versus a few bots (lvl20, max income etcetc), and they were able to crack my citadel. I didn't think it was possible, as if some mechanic prevented the citadel to fall in Slaughter mode (besides the d

I'm suprised that there havn't been more discussions about the lack of an observer mode in Demigod. I've only seen pair of threads dating back in Mars regarding the topic, and I found it weird, as observer-mode is kinda mandatory in those kind of games. I know, I know, GPG is busy with many things right now, and implementing observer-slots would require som modifications to the UI and some programing, but maybe implementing observer-mode in a later patch would be something to hop

What Schobbo said. It's like the community is going after the competitive players with pitchfork and torches. We should embrace premades and instead promote DG as a teamgame. More clans, competitive teams and a more esport aproach to the whole thing. And ofc have respect for those that wanna play PUG vs PUG and clearly name our games in the correct manner to avoid confusion/nobstomp.
