still getting dc followed by crash issues i disconnect from the wlan by right clicking on the connections icon in tray (lower right of my desktop) and selecting 'disconnect from ... ok another dc right off the bat, however i noticed something new. when i 'end task' in the task manager i saw "network flyout" appear then quickly disapear. i dont know what this is but maybe someone else does.... updated a few more drivers so i will try this again....

i will try uninstalling norton and deactivating the firewall, however i did not have these problems until recently. i played over 600 games (did have some crashing and dc issues then too) but only now has the issue become rampant. it is worth a shot though so thanks for the reply. comcast isp, scientific atlanta dpc2100r2 series cable modem, linksys wireless g 2.4ghz router (i plug an ethernet cable into the the router / comp before playing and disconect the wireless via the connectio

man i hear u. i dc now litterally every other game. so absolutely frustrating. everybody thinks i rage quit, but i just dc then the game crashes and i have to 'end task'. this only recently started to happen, but it is unbearable now and i will have to stop playing the game unless i can get this to stop. i have tried lowering graphics and sound to low and disabled everything but the issue continues. i have not noticed a pattern in the dc/crashes. it is <span style

this just started happening to me... first only as a host in multiplayer... then it started in single player skirmish... and now it occurs in multiplayer when i join another persons game. the only time i can succesfully play a game is single player Tournament. all other maps and modes will hang. tried reinstall but not working. will try renaming the folder as above. intersting note: i got a different type of hang up when i chose RANDOM AI. when random ai was used i would get an unhadd

Yea, i have a computer science degree and I do not envy the team who has to try and fix this. I really like this game so i dont want to come across as a whiner. Its all good, i will continue to play. it sounds like this is also a well known issue so not much point in beating this horse further. I do however have another question... AGAIN! This time in a custome game. The host (who was on my team) 'netsplit' as he called it. It gave him a win and everybody else a lose. I fought hard to win that game and would like to see these 'netsplits' purged/cleaned/corrected if possible. How is this happening? Even the ladder rankings seem wierd... some people outrank me that have lower stats in all catagories that i can see. hmmm, dont want to focus too much on the stats as that is not the point of the game, but still...</p

Sorry if this issue has already been covered / beaten to death but... my last skirmish game ended in victory for my team, yet it is recorded as a loss. A person on the other team timed out / dc mid way through the game. This person is the ONLY person who has a win for that game. Even his teammates show a loss (as they should since they lost). But my team won and we all have losses. Did he get the only victory because he timed out and finished beating the ai befor
