@skidi- I said nothing of blood. I like guns because guns give me that all-important capability of engagement range . @daniel- banned because I said so. The avatar is actually one of the TEC portraits from the Sins:Diplomacy expansion. I didn't know he was "badass". As for my fascination with the tools of warfare and destruction, well, one must be well acquainted with them if one intends to lead a powerful star-faring em

Banned because infinite lives beats nine lives. And railguns beat claws because I can fire a railgun from several klicks away. Dunno, what color were you thinking of initially? Maybe something very bright/vibrant, like red.

Well, earlier today I D/Led and played a Skirmish game of SupCom 1. I have to say, the only the that bugged the living hell out of me was the seeming inability to freely manipulate the camera in 3D (ala Sins/Homeworld1/2/DoW1). I still haven't tried the SupCom 2 demo, but I don't think I'm really going to, at least not for a while.

@Draak- ah, I see. My main reason for Stingwings is their combat abilities and the fact that Stingwings are far tougher and more mobile detectors than Pathfinders. What would be some good tips for using 'Crons? @IROKONESS- I like more than strat games; I enjoy the occasional PC-based FPS (Battefield 2142 FTW!! Nexuiz FTW!!), and I love playing space sim games.

Banned for wanting no reason. It's no problem, I'm glad that you feel better. *looks sideways suspiciously* Maybe when I begin building my new empire that will take the stars by storm you will come and help? *looks around suspiciously again*

Well, my main reason for not buying off Steam is that their selection doesn't appeal to me, their service has to be running while playing their games, and that Impulse is overall a more polished and better service IMO. Sure, I like some things about Steam better, but I like Impulse more than Steam because it seems to offer better service and also has a selection that appeals to me more. The other reason I really wouldn't buy off Steam for the most part is that the few games I do think

Well Draak, thanks for the assessment (sp? and I'm usually such an excellent speller). Numbers-wise, I've already been over the wiki like 100-1000 times. In particular I'm interested in how well a stealthsuit "rush" against LPs would go, especially considering that SS burst cannons have far longer range than turrets or LP guns when upgraded. The main problem is that those wonderful Fusion Blasters that rip apart just about everything in their path have piss poor range that allows turr

@Volt- at present, mesh swapping is only supported for ships/structures/starbases. In general, astronomical objects (like planets), cannot have their meshes swapped on the fly/at all. I think that a scorched earth policy would be excellent, but for it to truly be excellent it would probably need the implementation of an open orbital-model for the planets. Which, unfortunately, was implemented in the beta. And then the cries of the MP crowd killed the all-open model of Sins. CU

@Draak- I am hoping to get Dark Crusade very soon, and I am wondering what are good Necron/Tau strats/tactics ('Crons/Tau are my favorites, IG+SM just isn't cutting it any more :) ) Also, what is your summation of Soulstorm? @Ghost- when I command you to spill, YOU WILL SPILL WHAT I COMMAND YOU TO SPILL!!!! In this case it is personal info, since you gave VERY little.

Banned for admitting I am correct. @Ryat- ah, but I am a teen, and I feel that I am aeons ahead of my peer group in terms of thinking for the future. I plan for a future of man+machine, bioengineering, and terraformation.
