That looks sick... the tracking turrets etc... man that would be sick for a battle fleet gothic game.. release to the public? i really hope that someone picks up and create a BFG game..... i salivate at the idea..
Ramming would be great.. ships pretty much dead? use it as a battering ram.
I'd love to see all the ships from the books make it in.. I know you said that it would take forever but i would leave the extra ships to an update after all races have come out.. so whens the next monday update? Xp
How about ship location damage like in Star Wars empire at war? Bridge destroyed, engine destroyed.. these turrets destroyed, shield generator destroyed.. its a pretty cool system in star wars.. would be awesome for this game.. Also one other thing id add is star wars had a cinematic mode. press space bar and bam the game zooms in on ships in combat duking it out, changing between ships.. etc it was pretty cool.

This looks awesome.. hopefully both you and the other BFG mod will be fully done!.. my questions are.. 1- do you have a ship list what we will see in the future? There are plenty of configurations for ships i have links which im sure you have as well to various ships and styles. 2- what ship would you use for a titan? would it be a custom creation? since 40k allows for awesome custom mini's there are quit a bit a custom bfg fle

hope all is well and on track... forums are quiet watching dawn of victory looks pretty cool.. seems to be alot of action packed goodness in it.. hope this mod will be the same way soon! after playing bfg mod.. i feel it would be better for ships to engage at closer range.. currently you barely see anything fighting each other in close up.. cause you barely see the shooting effects which i know are being worked on from a post from a while ag

i think that having the ships duke it out at close range would be awesome. also still running into freeze problems
cancel that i jsut played for over and half hour and the game still froze =(
i actually feel that the effects for the imperial transport ship when attacking a planet, could be used for the port and starboard weapon batteries on imperial war ships. i think it gives them more justice. just would needs some bad ass sound after that, and yes i think your fix worked i havnt crashed yet.
ok i got it working, i deleted the only file and the ships appear now, but ive stumbled upon somethign else. maybe others get it but with in 15 mins into gam the game freezes, funny enough it happens when i click on the green button when you click on the planet, for more logistical support, first time it happend i clicke don my home planet logistic button this time roughly th same time i clicked on another planets logistic button after taking it over. game completly freezes, doesnt crash out
teh mod only had GS Ships nothing else
ah, ok. also harpo, would the reason everything is invisible is because of the current version of Ent. im running? im running 1.5 cause impluse auto-updated it to there and by passing 1.4 and that sucks about the breaking up of ships.. cause that would look neat =/

hey guys after the patch/ BFG mod i got going the ships are invisible after completion and the buidlings are invisible after completion. any one had this probelm resolved before? im running windows 7
also why are there two download links? one for 163 and 109 mb which ones do we grab? i got a new pc with windows 7 so.. yea.. but harpo do you possible know what that problem would be under in the search cause i cant seem to find it cause my new pc even doesnt show the ships or buildings.. also that issue about the invisible stuff. i see the ships in vanilla game but not bfg.. im running 1.5 entrenchment patch its auto patched to that... i also have just some idea
hows the progress of the mod? =) I love the game.. i also wish that HW2 would have that dam BFG mod that is in stasis come out.. =( .. BFG is jsut so dam badass.. and the spaceships just looke like what a space ship should look like if there were such things as Space warships lol if that made any sense to any of ya lol
my game updated tio 1.05 skipping 1.04 and the ships and buildings are invisible. after being built.
