Well I'm not sure of the version. I'm out of town until next week, and can't play. However, I do know that impulse just updated it recently, so I think it is pretty recent. I'll look when I get back.
Well I went back to a save right before I got the defeat, and looked for any indication of a culture problem. However, everything seemed to be fine. My planet's allegiance was at 100%. I played through the save and won the game using essentially the same strategy, so I'm not sure what happpened. I guess one lesson I learned is to save at regular intervals.
I hadn't thought of the culture bit. In fact, i was not paying attention to it at all. I'm going to try again tonight, and I'll keep an eye our for that. Thx.
Hi all, I posted this question on gamefaqs, but then realized the board is moving pretty slow, so I thought I would try it here. Ok so I just started playing the game for the first time. I played two games on the Point Blank map. The first game I was just trying to get the hang of everything, and ended up surrendering. So, I understand that one, naturally.
