That seems to be the proper one. The author uploaded the file on 25/5/2010. Would be nice if you can mirror it :)

It is a bit older already, but is there a chance that the mod author or someone else can re-upload the modified files?
I managed to get Distant Stars running now properly and I have to say it beats the other mods so far. I have never played such a great SoaSE match. AWESOME!
Problem is, the Optimization mod is not compatible with mods like Distant Stars (tried it out with Opt mod at the bottom or DS at the bottom).
Haven't seen the topic, but this tool is mainly for 32bit apps and 32bit operating systems, so that the app and os can use more memory. I can only say, it fixed the minidumb/crashing problems for me, i do not encounter slowdowns etc.
Dear SoaSE Community, I came across this handy tool, that enables any exe to use more than 2 GB of memory (even on Windows XP, instructions in the readme). I edited the bat files to work for SoaSE, SoaSE E and SoaSE D. I modified my SoaSE Exe and both addon exe files with it and now I can play SoaSE with mods like Distant Stars on highest details without getting a minidumb. <a title="3GB Enabler" href="http://www.f3underground.com/soase_3gb_enabler.rar" target="_blank"
Hi there, I'm not really familiar why you have to turn down your graphic settings to play Distant Stars, but anyway. Will the mod never work with highest details, because of the coding structure from SoaSE (or what is the reason?)? And is the mod compatible with the Sins Optimization Project Mod? Greetings, Maxunit
