Good to hear that you guys are going to go at it again schem and TFL Blair: I am not worried about the 10 min wait. I was just wondering if there is going to be some technology that can speed up the travel. I ask this purely for strategic reasons, since if such tech exist, teching to it may be vital if the map is HUGE (ie many galaxies)
This is great info indeed. I just hope that the game will make liberal use of these massive galaxies. However, if it does take 10 min to travel between systems, what is in between? I recall old posts about not making the game boring to the players, so there must be a mechanism to make those 10min fun or go by faster right? Personally I don't care about the wait.
