When my friends and I tried to hastily download this mod last night, we encountered a problem with the download. The error encountered is a File not found, of course followed by the file's suspected address. Fix please?

No, I'm entirely sure that I have been looking at the right directory. Because "USER" is what I meant by my username. Point is that there isn't an AppData folder, or Local Settings, or anything. I might've mis-typed, but I do know what to look for and it ain't there.

Unfortunately, I've done both of those. The first thing I did when I wanted to install a mod was go into the C: drive and un-hide everything. Then when that didn't work, I thought exactly what you suggested would happen when I checked the mod directory in Sins. Nothing. Very interesting, no?

Alright, so I reinstalled Windows XP on my laptop for unrelated reasons, which cleaned the whole compy out. It only took a short while, but all important/major stuff is back. All except the pathway to the Sins mod folders. I know the path, C:/Documents and Settings/USER/AppData/Local/etc.etc. The problem is that the AppData folder doesn't exist, and the people I can usually turn to for help aren't being very helpful. Any ideas?

I demand that "The Last Stand: Episode 1 - The Xin" be included! He who has not heard of this mod needs to know about it. This amazing work has been compiled over the course of one year by the extremely dedicated ManSh00ter. You will be amazed by what he has acomplished.
