I did all the uninstall/reinstall. It's still 11.02. I hit, within Deskscapes, installing a background "to a specific monitor", which is individual monitor 1, the background also installs on monitor 2, overwriting the background there. So then I click on the picture I want on monitor 2 and it flashes for maybe 1.5 seconds and then the monitor 1 screen appears. After about 20 seconds, monitor 2 turns dark. So then if I reapply the individual background I want to monitor 2, it still flashes for

Deskscapes blacks out Monitor 2 when I choose "only monitor 1" and then personalize Monitor 2 as a separate image that I do not want to change ever. This is true whether a video or a stagnajnt Deskscapes image. 24H2 26100.3775

Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center (9600.winblue_r5.141029-1500) WindowBlinds 8.09 (030 - Windows 8 Edition) - 64 bit OS WindowBlinds is not installed correctly on this PC. If you did not reboot after installing WindowBlinds 8 for the first time, then please reboot and try this again. It works if I enable the service. It's currently disabled, which I suspect is what generated that message. Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks, Carguy. Now I'm more fascinated by why I couldn't find your answer - including taking the time to do a screenshot - than the problem itself which is solved. When I click on "MY POSTS" that thread now shows up. It wasn't there yesterday or today. I swear on my ...hmm...hmm.. what...

Anyway under volume mixer I see Windows Explorer. No deskscapes. Not sure why that is, but, muting it does the trick and I still hear other system sounds as there is a separate "system sounds" listing that remains unmuted. Thanks [e digicons][/e]

I couldn't find my other post! It doesn't even show up in "my posts" at the top, nor under search. I assume I didn't actually post it [e digicons]-_-[/e]

How can I turn off the audio of a deskscape? I have 2 good ones that have really annoying audio loops that repeat ... and repeat .. and repeat .. and repeat..

My favorite Deskscape .dream has an annoying sound loop that starts "Four Million years ago..." why I would want to listen to that in in INFINITE LOOP is beyond me!!! What's the easiest way to edit out the sound? I found a thread in 2008 with no answer :(

1 - Stardock did fix my account. That "cross reference with Stardock Account" is not robust enough for those of us using Paypal at a different address. 2 - An Iconpackager update came out today. Is it safe for me? 3 - The beta version of Deskscapes fixed my issue. With WindowsBlind 6 + Deskscapes I was getting messages to please install Windows Dreamscapes. The beta update fixed that. It was misleading me to think that some skins are Windows Aero and some are not - when ac

Hi, running Windows Vista 64. Problem 1 - Stardock Central works with my "paypal" email address but not with my Stardock one. When I use the option to "cross reference with Stardock Account" I put in the paypal address and get a positive email and prompt but Stardock Central insists on using my paypal address. Then when it installs stuff, the individual installs complain about having the wrong email address. I can get success by using the Stardock email address, bu
