I like this suggestion whether it is the subjective "skilled" or a set number of games/wins. The main plus I see to this, from the viewpoint of somebody still a bit new, is that the host informs me ahead of time that I may get booted. If I join a game labeled "skilled" with my 23 game record and get booted because nobody is willing to vouch for me I'm OK with that. It still sucks, but at least I knew I was taking the risk. If I get booted from a generic game it catches

I've been having massive trouble with this too. I didn't play online Sins for about two weeks so I can't say it started when Diplomacy came out, but in the last week I've gotten disconnected from ICO in all 5 games I've tried to play. This is not in Diplomacy btw.

Much to my chagrin, it appears that top_vasaris rapid colonization video is from an older version of SoaSE and I can't view it. Anybody happen to have a recording showing a particularly good early colonization spree which you wouldn't mind sharing?
