The problem with useing Subverters to counter Advent is that they fully come together at 6 military labs while the advent have about all they need at 4 or 5.

I was playing with five friends on a LAN game and I had problems with forming trade pacts with one of them. We both could offer any of the possible pacts, but we could not accept them. I know I had all of the right tech, and I am asuming that he did to. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?.
A part of what I like about the Vasari are there mobility. As antechtaire pointed out phase gates are austouding. Having 4 or 5 of them are worth 2 or 3 extra fleets because your fleets can be right where you want them. It speads up your flow of new ships if you put one where a factory is and one where you want the ships. There is one thing that I belive people are not taking into acount when dealing with the cost of Vasari ships and their supply costs are the Vasari upgrades on the empire tree. The Vasari have an upgrade named enhance phase transmitions I belive. The upgrade gives an extra 10% ish supply. (I can not pull the numbers of the top of my head). Also all Vasari ships and sturctures are affeced by the Slave labor upgrade, which decreases credit cost. If you add up these factors then I belive th
