Think the Rudra Annihilator Cannon should be toned down a bit. Several times now I've had bad luck with AI getting 2-3 of these + the Kinetic Intensifier. This really crippled my economy and ability to move forward much. Had to spend money on improving the planets over and over after recapture. Thank you Yarlen. I do not shut down or reboot daily so after starting Sins a few times I have to swap through one instance for each run with the selector button on my G15 or restart the Logitech Gaming Software.
For a while now the Logitech display app will not exit after game exit. Its simply stuck there with the Sins of a Solar Empire text in display.

Did you fix the skipping of research levels in the Expanded Research mini mod? Used to be able to go from tier 1 lvl 2 to tier 2 lvl 5. Basically skipping two levels levels of research. Could do this for each tier...just research two levels and go to next tier.
Open rebellion is just annoying. Instantly loose the planet and afaik there is no way to stop that [e digicons]>:([/e]
I got this autosave that you can use. It will also cause the game to slow down during an engagement with the AI. To see this bug make sure you have the fleet in same grav well as the titan is when you load it. after a bit the AI will come in and attack. After a short while the entire game will slow to a crawl and eventually stop. Being patient you can use the pause game and be able to enter the menu and quit the game. home.broadpark.no/~jtillung/
Looks like Matriarch Celestia is bugged. Ship is not moving around properly. It will be stuck just before destination of a move command and if I use stop she will just stay there never to engange enemies. Following as part of a fleet is not working either due to the move bug.
Are people getting .11 to work? So far I've yet to load a game. Sins just dumps at load screen after setting up a game.
Any mirrors to download the alpha? Downloading at 20kb/s and failed twice so far. Wasting bandwidth for both like this.
I've tried all I can think of to fix this, but nothing... The crashing has been getting worse with each new beta for me. And the frustrating thing is I can't even submit proper feedback when all the dumps I get are 0 byte.
Current version just crashes randomly for me and all dump files made are 0 bytes. Most annoying part is that it usually does so within 15 minutes so no autosaves to load.

This build is crashing for me randomly... First one was some kind of C++ abnormal rebellion exe termination error. The .dmp file that was created only this last time was 0 bytes so nothing there. You can complete a ship before the research finishes... I've also found that the Fleet Supply is buggy. Had some spare supply and queued up some ships over the supply limit, cause I was researching next step. Sent them directly to the enemy planet and they obviously got killed slowly. The tooltip list this one reducing cooldown on its other active abilities, but I have not noticed any reduction. At least here is no update on the tooltip of the abilities indicating they have reduced cooldown.
I've noticed that as soon as you start researching next level on these you can use the coming command to build a cap ship. This should not be possible before the research is done.

Mine auto detection is useless. They target a mine and just sit there. Fire range of the detector is not long enough and no other strike craft or ships attack the detected mine if in engagement range. I have to pretty much manually move them around to detect the mines... Detectors are also suicidal by flying through a minefield to detect a mine on the far side [e digicons]:([/e]
When moving from HDD to SSD its best to do a fresh install of W7. Many older formats of HDDs, pre W7, are not 4k aligned and the SSD will have sub par performance without it. And its not easy to get image aligned properly. It can be done but usually involves a lot of fancy tricks with partition managers. I think maybe latest Acronis True Image can align an unaligned partition, but not sure...
Any chance of getting a DX11 render for Sins? Its supposed to be much more efficient. Its quite apparent in games like World of Warcraft that added one along with the old dx9.
