Probably once a planet is destroyed by that Vasari (I assume loyalist) titan, the resource asteroids remain. I am guessing the titan as a home planet is only going to give the Vasari player a credit income advantage, which makes the most sense to me.

I often play Sins in single player mode and I do think that the Diplomacy expansion added a lot more to the overall gameplay experience. Especially the pacts make for more interesting situations later in the game.

I know that at the moment the Vasari are the most powerful race in Sins. Though I see the Rebellion beta test period as a great way to influence the developers on how to balance out the three races so that none of them feels too overpowered. They do listen to us, youknow. Anyway, I do not think that based on the info we currently have we could say that the Vasari are really going to be massively overpowered in Rebellion. The latest interview with GameSpy reveiled that the ot

During the short time in which that discount was available, we didn't have as much info about the game as we have now. I think a lot of people didn't want to preorder the game because they didn't
You are right, I completely forgot about the Kostura Cannon. What about this for the advent Titan? Teleporting a fleet to an adjacent planet. So, when their reinforcements arrive, you just teleport back to saftey?
This is actually a very interesting thought. Though it should have something like a charge up time before the ships can teleport to a new location, to balance it out a bit.

They said in one of their interviews it is not going to happen (I think it was because they would have to do a lot of reworking on the code to implement something like targettable hardpoints on ships). Though I admit it would be extremely nice if they would add a feature like that.

When Advent culture hits an enemy planet, part of that planet's income (and perhaps trade income) is given to the Advent player.
If the part of the lost allegiance on that planet would decide how many credits and resources would be given to the Advent player, who's culture is pushing back the culture that belongs to the owner of that planet, it might be a good way to make cult

What if the Vasari Titan could '"shoot" a phase stabilizer node at another planet within a certain radius, so that until it was destroyed, or its time runs out, ships could travel to that one from any other phase stabilizer node. It would need to have less health than real ones, though. The node, not the Titan.
That is basically what the Kostura Cannon also does, only less effective, since the enemy could d

I got it for 20 euros (with that discount they had a few months ago). Pretty cheap for a new game in my opinion.

I don't think an ability like Resurrection will be castable on a titan, since it is a whole different ship class. Also, I am not sure if you will be able to choose which capital ship you will start with in the game mode you referred to. It is very likely you will start the game with a pre-selected capital ship in that game mode, because you require a capital ship to be able to activate that victory condition (last flagship standing is kind of pointless if you ha

But most likely they thought of this already.

I really would like to be able to choose which subfaction the AI is going to play before the game starts. It would make for more customizable single player games, which would only add to the overall Sins experience if you ask me (yes, I like playing single player games a lot aswell, besides playing online).

Ignoring shields also bypasses mitigation which means that 30-65% of damage is not being nullified by the shields. This results in exponential increases to the effectiveness of Vasari LRM & Bombers vs other racial counterparts.
Mitigation is not bypassed by phase missiles that directly impact a ships hull, because it is always active, even when a ships shields are down. So the m
