Man don't necro old threads. Especially when you make it such a pain in the butt to read your reply. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Teun-A-Roonius
Your ideas on the multiplayer system sound good to me. Pathfinding for the AI is most likely going to be improved in Rebellion. Also, the idea to flag certain planets as inappropriate for scouts (like pirate bases) has already been mentioned on several threads. I think the dev's might implement a feature like that.
Nice try stant, nice try. [e digicons][/e]
Sounds good to me. [e digicons][/e]
JCD, Your sequels sucked. You've posted 7 threads and been a douche-bag in most of them. Quit it or we'll tip you upside down and pour lava into your mouth.
I couldn't have said it any better. [e digicons]k1[/e]
If you have ever played the SupCom series you should know exactly what I mean when i say it is hard not to exceed your credit and resource income rate. In my honest opinion, the way it is now is not that bad. By the way, I never said mass scuttle is a bad thing. I think you quoted someone elses reply.
Well I'd rather have them work on the new expansion than spending all their time creating screenshots. Though if they released a screenshot every now and then I would be very pleased.
Quoting Teun-A-Roonius, reply 1Resources being consumed while a ship or structure is being build sounds like a bad and unnecessary change to me. Ive explained how it would be useful, so do me the courtesy of explaining why it would be the opposite of useful.
Well I believe you would easily lose track of what you bought if you don't have to pay a base price for your goods. It would be hard to get a good overview
How the hell did you manage to accidentally scuttle a Capital ship without noticing after a while? [e digicons]XD[/e]
Well it's a good thing everyone on these forums is able to understand Spanish... [e digicons]
I think an auto-build feature like in the Supreme Commander series would be really nice for Sins. Also a mass scuttle (when you select multiple objects and press Shift + S they should all be scuttled at once) would be nice. Resources being consumed while a ship or structure is being build sounds like a bad and unnecessary change to me.
This idea seems awfully complicated to me. Besides, it would be rather unfair to conquer another race's structures.
I give it aproximately 6 hours from now. *Watches RTSGuru's RSS Feed closely.*
Wow. Imagine you wouldn't be able to play Rebellion for a whole day! Now that would be disastrous.

I personally can't wait to see more Rebellion stuff ASAP. [e digicons]:X[/e]

I absolutely agree with you that the allegiance system needs some tweaks. I am not sure about what kind of changes would be best though.
The only funny thing about a Space Junk gravity well is that it boosts Vasari Orkulus starbases with the Debris Fortex ability to near indestructible strength. But you make a valid argument about these types of gravity wells being unattractive to control. The dev's should indeed do something with that.
Tnx for the tip! [e digicons][/e]
Also - a better cinematic mode. Make it remove all UI entirely when activated. It should make it so that you can take screenshots without having game stuff in the way.
This.
The guy deserves another karma point. They are playing together remember? [e digicons]:P[/e]
Well, since a few "old" forum freaks have been introducing themselves, I think I shouldn't hold back myself: I am Teun-A-Roonius, I am from the Netherlands and I have been playing Sins since 2009. I generally play solo games versus the AI (only at Cruel difficulty nowadays), but I do fancy a multiplayer game every once in a while. I have been active on the Sins forums every now and then since I first started playing. It is only since Rebelion was announced t
What if space kittehs flew out of all the exploding ships and structures? That would instantly make Rebellion Game Of The Year. They should look like this one:
Yea, even if the pods don't fly towards the center of the gravity well, it would still be cool to see some pods propelling away from destroyed ships.
That will be a cool effect, maybe limited to the Capital ships...?
Maybe limiting it to Capital ships would increase the likelyhood of actually seeing them in Rebellion.
