Thanks a lot for this new list! Looking forward to the beta, impatiently... [e digicons]:X[/e]

Map sharing like they did in 'Gratuitous Space Battles' might work in Sins aswell. That would be nice when playing multiplayer games, but also when you are looking for cool new maps to play on your own.
What KerrdogJ just mentioned reminded me of Battlestations: Pacific. Which is without doubt a really cool game. Though in Sins you often have to pay attention to so many planets at once, that managing an invasion of a single planet might cause you to lose overview, perhaps resulting in you being backstabbed by another empire. In a situation like that, it is quite likely that either the invasion goes wrong because you don't have a lot of time to manage it while you are diverging part of yo
It is a stand alone expansion, this has been made clear several times now. So: No, you don't have to install all your previous Sins games again to be able to install and play Rebellion.
I think an idea like this would require some significantly complex coding. I don't think it would have a lot of potential, to be honest...
The one thing I am most curious about is the new levels of capital ship abilities. It seems pretty obvious to me that all basic capital ship abilities are able to be upgraded to tier 4 on higher level capital ships. However, will this also affect the 'super abilities'? The new list does state that every ability will be upgraded to have 4 tiers. I wonder if they also meant the supers, though, since they might be way too overpowered on hi
It's quite obvious really. And why did you still pre order when you didn't see your discount show up in the first place?
The reverse could be interesting though, maybe the Vas Titan has some kind of gravity weapon whereby they draw all ships in to be smashed to bits against its massive 50,000 pt Shields. Or a large scale Magnetize on the TEC where all SC smash into it and die.
Something like that would seriously be awesome.
I like idea 4,5 and 6 a lot! But idea 1 is just rediculous I think. They are making Titan class ships to deal with those annoying overdefended gravity wells remember? No need to nerve the amount of available tactical slots when you are going to need them more than ever in the next expansion.
If you want the Dev's attention, you are doing it wrong... Though I really appreciate all the time you put into this post [e digicons];P[/e]
An updated interface would be sweet, but I wouldn't mind if they choose to keep the original interface. I think the in game features require the most attention.
One word: Awesome! Wantz more. [e digicons][/e]
I think it would be cool to have the option to set which AI players will play as Rebel and which will play as Loyalist (and possibly which would be Neutral). This would ofcourse be definable before the game has started (in the same window where you select the AI difficulties and play styles).

The second idea however I dislike a bit, mainly because it will be unable for a losing faction to turn the tide of battle by building a titan simply because it is unable to leave its own planets without getting completely annihilated in an enemy / neutral gravity well because it has a less powerfull fleet. Dang I feel silly now, Thanks a bunch though. I had the feeling it must've been something I just overlooked[e digicons]:P[/e] And real nice of the both of you that you react so quickly [e digicons]:D[/e]
I have got a really simple question but I couldn't find a solution for it anywhere on the forum so I figured I should post it anyway: I have modded a Capital ship's .entity file and it works the way it should, but it works in the Original Sins game only. I couldn't find any capital ship entity files in the diplomacy folder, and that happens to be the game I want the modified file to work in... Any help would be greatly app
I think it is rather odd indeed that this wasn't mentioned in the change log, but I am 100% certain that te damage on these defensive structures is drastically increased.
Quoting master1a, reply 12TEC hangers now have 80 (was 40) base damage with the weapons ability upgrade Can anyone else confirm this? In 1.31 it still looks like 40 DPS to me.
I can confirm this. I even got it up to a 104 DPS with a lot of research. Also the Point defenses of all races are now upgraded to do around 40-46 DPS (and even more after researching weapons tech). It seems like th
Point taken, it was indeed a pain in the ass when the AI had a +5 max relationship bonus before the hotfix [e digicons]:P[/e] It seems rather balanced now though. I personally don't have a problem with the +2 max bonus.
That it can make dilpomatic victory games harder is certainly true, but it is basically intended to keep human players from exploiting the AI's lack of beneficial relationships with other players (so now the human player will not be able to become friends with all AI players and let them fight it out). It kind of adds to the game I think [e digicons]:)[/e]
Alright, i'll send it right away, thanx for your reply [e digicons]:)[/e] -I've send it -Already got a reply from the support team, they say they are looking into it [e digicons]:X[/e]
Since this hotfix I get a minidump error when the AI completes any attack planet mission I send them. This did not happen before the hotfix was released. Anyone else having this problem? Oh, and if you are still going to update the hotfix Yarlen (which I certainly hope) please fix the upper two laser gun turrets on the Advents Relevation Class Battlecruiser cause they don't shoot(I will keep asking you to do this till it gets fixed [e digicons][/e] )!!!
