I wouldn't call MOBAs fun exactly, but I can and have played them a lot, and these people have no understanding of why they are popular. Hmm - what secret knowledge of their popularity do you have that they don't? To me, they are popular because they are: 1. Free to play 2. Provide a sense

I get called "retard", "moron", "fucktard", "douchebag", etc. pretty regularly. That's nothing. What people don't realize is that there are people out there who will put serious effort into antagonizing the people who make their games (if they're accessible). I've had people PM me saying t

Mental Retardation isn't the acceptable terminology for people with mental disabilities any more, IDD is, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Retard has gone the way of older terms, like Moron, Idiot, Cretin and Imbecile. Those we

Nobody deserves to have hate thrown at them. These are fucking video games. If you don't like them, don't buy them. But your purchase doesn't give you the right to shit on other people. So

Stop using non-proper nouns. Bam, problem solved. Seriously, your games use the most generic words ever. Elemental? Fallen? Enchantress? War? Magic? Please. It's not that those are bad words per say, its just so basic. Obviously the generic words get used first. From a list I found of all games Stardock developed, as opposed to published: Business Tycoon Galactic Civilizations Society Entrepreneur The Po

The game market isn't the most mature user base to begin with. When you put yourself out there and do something stupid, you've earned the flack you went after. Wilson in particular stepped in shit when he made a disparaging comment about a former Blizzard employee. One shoul

If you want people to join the project, why don't you explain the idea they would be working on? That's likely to get you the best response.

Obviously you couldn't actually call it Majesty. But a game that plays similarly. The spiritual successor comment is probably the closest to what I was thinking of.

Yeah so the new race has no way to effectively manipulate objects. Hence they couldn't have gotten into space. They need fingers or tentacles or some other fine motor appendage that hasn't yet been invented.

How interested are people in an open source version of Majesty? Ever since Majesty 2 proved to be practically unrelated to the important aspects of the first game I have been thinking about how cool this would be. More maps, more lairs and monsters, better AI, increasing lair production over time, more structures, more spells and upgrades. I really really miss the thousand+ hours I blew on this game, but I beat all the missions and the expansion and I played oodles of the random

I am really getting into Diana, even if League charging such huge ip amounts is bullshit. As a HoN legacy I received all post early access champs for free. Plus, they used to have 1350 and 3150 champs and now its all 6300. In any case having a touchpad causes me to miss lots of kills, but I am still winning most games as mid. I really like her suck in. Its amusing. Maybe a shorter cooldown though? Landing Q is pretty tough and I rarely have a team good enough to set up

After well over a year of no LoL and lots of HoN I am totally incapable of playing LoL. The speed of the game is slow and boring with too much laning and its almost impossible to kill a full health champ alone. Plus you never get the same feeling of 1v3 with Nomad where it was never in doubt that there would be a massacre.

There were months were they did NOT have a working engine. <br

At Wargamer there is a lot of feeling like they haven't done much of the actual coding and that they won't be able to create the game as outlined, for time as well as practicality reasons. How much actual programming have they done? Do they have a working engine? Are they going to make alien races that aren't just anthropomorphized earth animals?
