The ship type varies with random numbers. You will sometimes get all of one ship type, other times you will get a random assortment. My fleet currently has 5 Jarrasul, 4 of which came from Dark Fleet and 2 Rankulas, both of which were created by Dark Fleet, I also got two Antorak that were dark fleet created.

The Jump Gates are currently free due to the fact that it's bugged. The Stab's say Dark Fleet Combat and Support fleets are free, when in fact they cost a pretty penny to pt out. The only reason they are free is that when you click them the resources aren't taken for the ships you produce, when they are in fact supposed to. Still, the Dark Fleet is very useful in bad situations where things go up shit creek quickly. Edit : I have in fact tested the fleet cos

Are you building starbases for the single purpose of extra goodies or are you not upgrading them in DPS / defense worth a crap because the only way I can make border colonies as defensive as you're talking about is to either sacrifice SC squadrons or to give up weapons / armor which defeats the one strength of an orky which is that it's a beast of a SB to deal with.

No it's not broken, the amount you need for this to work is around 7k credits, 3k min and 3k crystal. What's broken is the fact it doesn't USE those resources when you summon in the fleet. I do believe you also need around 70-80 fleet supply for combat ships, not sure what it was for support. Standard 1 Cap 50 fleet for a capitol ship. Next time, could you perhaps tell us what is broken about it instead there Captain Obvious?

Ok quick fix for the reform fleet (don't engage) bug. If you flip the engagement range on the fleet that has the titan all the way back through everything then to gravity well again, they will attack as normal but you have to do this every time you add a new ship to your fleet. If you don't do this when adding new ships they continue to huddle behind the titan unless things get up close enough for you to engage. Edit 2: Nope, nevermind, this doesn't work eit

Another interesting bug with Dark Fleet. It seems, that when you summon ships from the Dark Fleet then they are free. All you need at this time is 7k resources, 3k metal and 3k crystal. Then you can hit all three buttons and get a capitol ship and a varied amount of smaller ships. The ships cost nothing but fleet supply and they do NOT take away from your resources when they come in. I tested this on all my Phase Stabilizers (even the one summoned by the titan that's free as well) a

It's kinda hard to tell what's going on with this bug but I think it's one of two things. 1. (And this sounds reasonable) The Titan is the cause of this, but I can't put a finger on what exactly it's doing. It's either (A) Lowering the engagement range of the ships around it to such a low level that the ships don't notice each other or (B) The Titan forces the fleet to constantly reform and thus not engage at all.
just to be clear, are your forces in an actual fleet (fleet leader gets the fleet icon, adds a new section to the empire tree)? a selection group (you press a number key to select several ships at once)? both? or neither (maybe just box selected them)?
All my ships that took part in this battle were in a fleet, all of those ships were manually bound to a control group. All those ships were selected during this engagement. <br

Ok martox, so what you're saying is in every single gravity well I own I am going to have to build a starbase. And in every one of those starbases I have to build aux gov? And this is to counter a PC / NPC building two (minimum) novaliths? Forgive me if I don't laugh about that. Yes, your counter to a weapon that the AI rushs to, is to blow all your money on starbases in every gravity well you own and mandatory one point for one passive ability on each of them.

Another bug it would seem is that the phase gate my titan puts down doesn't even function. I've got reinforcements pouring out of my base right now, but they jump to a closer phase stabilizer then jump to another gravity well, then to my fleet. It doesn't direct link from one phase gate to the one my titan puts down.

Ok, update to this... it seems to be all Vasari forces. It actually seems like their engagement range is WAY low even if it's set to gravity well. I just jumped into a gravity well and sniped the starbase located there, meanwhile the enemy fleet (who were also Vasari loyalist) just kinda sat around the planet and watched me do it. They didn't move to engage until I was much, much closer.

Take your own advice Volt. JUST because I don't post every day, every minute in every thread on this forums doesn't mean I don't stay here. I don't post unless I have something to add that contributes to a beta test, therefore you will more then likely only ever see me put information down for bugs. But my point stands, if you have an Advent bug then make a thread about it and put it there. I am truely sick and tired of people coming int

Ships will constantly reform fleet if there are no hostile ships / facilities in orbit. If the facilities that are left are things such as trade ports, mining colonies and research labs, Vasari ships will completely ignore them and reform on the titan. The titan on the other hand will attack and destroy until they're all gone. Everyone else just sits back and hovers behind the titan EVEN if physically told - go kill this. I had two trade hubs in orbit around an enemy planet, my fleet refo

Novalith is the strongest superweapon in the game, period, because it can instantly cost you a planet if it hits a dwarf or an asteroid. There's no way to save a dwarf if it's hit because the Novalith just wipes it out. The Vasari weapon while it does create phase nodes, it doesn't cost you a planet every time it hits. You don't want 4, you want more then 4, and the current way the AI is set up it will TRY to build a novalith at every planet it owns. At this moment this FORCES

Oh and PS: Before everyone says some bullcrap about how i'm being to the Advent whiners above and why i'm picking them out it's this. Every thread i've read that has had to do with the Vasari titan or the Vasari as a whole has been people complaining the Advent didn't get it, so why should they. Guess what? We're not on the Advent end of the beta anymore, we're on a whole totally different race that is played 100% different then the Advent. B

Ok, look, we get it. You don't think the Advent titans are strong enough. We understand that, thank you for your contribution. It was tested, and they said you were wrong. We are still in a beta though so feel free to continue to piss and moan about it. Right now, the Vasari titan is actually weaker then the Advent titan, so not sure what you are reaching for. I agree with most everything above simply because the dev's want the loyalists to feel like they can pa

I read this, and I have to say, THANK GOODNESS. Superweapons in single player were getting way out of hand with the computer building one in almost every single gravity well it could get its hands on. Now some may think, why would you let them do that? Playing and testing the game through single player with hard AI's is a bit silly right now. The AI thinks Superweapons are the end game, not capitol fleets and large fleets. So you end up having the AI with 6+ novaliths and him blowing your
