I have never modded Sins before. I do not know anything about what to do. Could I have some help? I really want to make another species and I want some suggestions and step by step instructions from square one on how to do so. Thanks!

I love the idea of backroom deals with other factions to turn against common enemies who may at the time be allies. Tricking factions and corrupting them to your needs is great in diplomacy! I need to know some diplomatic strategies for wiping out AI and Real players using Pirates, backroom deals, other Players (both AI and Person), and a lot of money. All of those things are available to me but I need a perfect way to wipe out people out with all of those "in my deck". Got any gre

One thing that has come to my attention recently and across time is the Black Market screen. *We have the Diplomacy Screen, Useful, helps us forge pacts and treaties with eachother. *We have the new Relations Screen, Useful, helps us see what our allies think of us and others. With Diplomacy this is very useful. *We have the Research Screen, very useful, It helps us advance and do much much more. It is probably the most important screen. *Then here comes the issue

In relation to the new pirate upgrades. I have another idea. Perhaps Informants? Informants would be in the black market window and here are a few suggestions as to what they do- 1. You pay for an amount of time you want to see everything on the desired planet. Depending on the allegiance or something it could be more expensive or less expensive along with how long would make it more expensive. 2. Pay to see the things a player has researched. Get a glimpse of one of their Tec

I agree, It is very discomforting to have planets in other systems have very low allegiance. And (if you do it well) put your capitol at your border (next to the sun). I think a Capitol per system is a good idea.

Yes. A Galactic UN is a great idea. Itd be tough to do it well but it would be so utterly amazing! Id play the game for hours longer!

OH MY GOD! ITS AMAZING! I wont say anything more so that everyone else can see how amazing it is as well... But WOW! Really cool. I love it!

Awesome. Looking forward to the next Beta! Sins is going to be even better! Offering missions to pirates sounds so cool! Oh also, now that a lot of tech tree stuff has been removed will more be added? because an empty tech tree is saddening for all.

Oh I see. Still its a good show! Alright, I fought him again, and his constant stream of assailants still overtook me. Though I think I still might have won due to my massive money income he also seemed to be superior still. However one of our internet died before we could finish.

Oh so you watch it?! Fantastic! Its a fantastic show isnt it? I was jsut to lazy to shrink one of the many pictures I have of it to be icon size. I am glad I found other people who watch anime though! Lol

Alright thanks! Ill try those ideas. Ill get back to you on how it works. Its definetly stressing him so far, he said yesterday that we was stressed during a scout spam so If it is just improved a little more I can defeat him!

Well, I just like to admire how beautiful and succesful of a game Sins of a Solar Empire is. So many memories to go with it, so many emotions, and the pure incredible "this is it!" feeling you get when you play it. I remember when I was first introduced to Sins, My Stepbrother burst into his room, where I was waiting for him to get home from school and said to me in a very excited tone "Put this disc in your computer and download it!" I looked at him confused but I could t

So we have all heard that this expansion is going to be bigger then the other "micro-expansions" But is their any way we could hear any more? I also have some suggestions if they are wanted or whatever stardock wants! Stardock is incredible! Sins is the most amazing strategy game ever! I Really love it, good work!

Well If this were an option you could choose if you would want to get someone a fraction of your fleet for a certain amount of time.

Alright. So in terms of fighting his strategy, I colonize for a bit until I am attacked by his vast number of assailants. He only builds assailants, so what later game ship is better against them? If I use scouts early, and that holds him off for a bit, It wont forever because he will upgrade or something. Then what should I do? Also, he sends assailants (and a lot of them) constantly during an attack. How do I go about other things such as colonization or research when I have to keep

23 Replies 73,753 Views

Cool. Ill try it. What should I use to colonize/after his initial assault? He generall can resuply prety fast so should just keep a bunch of scouts out? And build extra ships later?

Oh also, there should be a "median" setting for the computer players, now the options are economist, researcher, agresive, or fortifier. Why not a combined one?
