My attitude aside? Well, what ever, oh no I am absolutely not wanting people to just jump on my idea and run with me, I was merely just wondering what I was going to have in store for myself if I wanted to do this, I reread what I posted, and it absolutely sounded like I wanted to, I dunno, recruit anybody. I just wanted to know if it could be done, if I even wanted to do it, I just thought it'd be a tad bit easier since the gun and missile effects in that game aren't all shiny or spe

Well I am definitely up for learning, well it has like millions of registered players, the full reason we want to make a mod out of it is because the ships in the game and they don't have fancy gun effects or missile effects so it wouldn't be hard for me to model that, we just really want to see the ships we love in the game put into Sins. We think it'd look epic on a massive scale like this.
"I personally haven't had any real interest in actually playing sins....
What the shit are you doing here then? I wanted to talk to people who do have an interest and maybe help with modding.
Just wondering what it would be like, thank you for the answer.
I know there's a decent BSG mod, but the game Battlestar Galactica Online, has their own ships that we'd like to make a mod from, look, I'm not asking anything remarkable, I'm just wondering if anyone would like to help me out or something. And we want it on Sins because that's the game we both have and want this mod on.
Hello ya'll, for awhile now, my brother and I have been talking about making a mod based off Battlestar Galactica Online, we were big fans of the game until it started to die out and people were not playing as much, it's not at all a complete representation of that amazing show, but we do like the ships they decided to place as fillers, so, we are wondering if some experienced modders would like to work with us, the game is pretty much perfect to be modded off, since you can pan aroun
Yeah, I'm afraid that'd be over powered as hell.
Yeah I have noticed that, I think the hard part would be creating the models
Sounds like modding is a pain huh? and very complicated
Right on dude, well the post was mostly to get some attention and wondering if I could work with some modding teams or get links to tutorials. I have plenty of time on my hands to help on projects or start my own.
Huh, I just eventually want to create my own mod.
I know its a pain in the ass and there are already so many of them but I have been wanting to do this for a long while, I want to learn how to mod or work with some experienced modders. If anybody can help me out or team me up with experienced modders that'd be great. I have already seen some "how to" on modding SOASE but they are outdated and aren't relevant to new updates or even Rebellion for that matter. So help me if you can, if you don't have anything generally nic
Bleh what ever I like this post
Is that the Borg Queen dancing Sinperium?
Umm no new ships, I am incredibly happy with Titans, I think its like if you have been playing from the original its like this Sins: OH MY GOD! CAPITAL SHIPS! Sins Entrenchment: OH MY GOD! STARBASES! GOOD GOD! Sins Diplomacy: Eh I can tell allies what to do. yay. SINS REBELLION!!!: SWEET MOTHER OF GOD!!!! TITANS!!!
Ibnpatuta I updated with one of your suggestions and I spaced them.
Homeworld 2 was capable of it.
I think I want a number of things if Sins 2, if its going to be made. 1. 3-D weapon and engine particles, I am tired of turning slightly to the side then weapon fire disappears. 2. Rotating guns and firing arks. The autoguns on the Kol for example, I would love to see them follow their targets, take a note from Homeworld 2. Firing Arks meaning weapons that can't "rotate" should only fire straight, like the beam arrays on the front of the Kol, they are straight forwar
