I played it before but I had another system then. Right now I play on a Ryzen 1800X with 16GB and a Radeon R9 Fury Nano using Win10 64Bit.

I thought you will. It would be nice though, if you you wouldn`t announce more information and then don't give the information. I am looking forward to see what you're working on.
Thank you for the information, Ed! I didn'nt know that. Sadly, it won't be a SupCom successor...
Hey guys this is getting a bit ridiculous. It's July and you mentioned the Ashes sequel in January while saying that more info would be coming soon. I paid close to 100 bucks for the Ashes founder's edition and still think I didn't really get enough for that money. It's a cool game, it really is, and it's good I supported you. That's what I wanted. The problem is, I still really want a real SupCom successor! This is what you enticed in January and you keep us all hanging in th
As I stated elsewhere, Escalation is much more refined, fluid and joy to play. There should be no question about it. Escalation is the way to go. The free keys should make it apparent that nearly everybody prefers Escalation. The key giveaway action is honorable I would like to point out. You noticed that your decision p###ed off a lot of people so you did something about it. Great job. By the way I don't agree that Ashes can run on a potato if DX 12 is at work. I wouldn't say
So what's happening? This problem is really annoying because the Mastermind after having it's initial drone loadout destroyed becomes really useless. It seems it produces some drones but stops doing so after a short time.
I think you are doing a great job! I somehow lost my interest in Ashes somewhere during the beta/ea. It did not really take a hold of me. When Escalation came I thought it wouldn't change much. BUT: It did! It's really what FA did for SupCom back in the days. I can not really put my finger on it but it is a much more enjoyable, fluid and refined experience than Ashes. With the free keys you are about to give to early access people there is nothing anybody can complain about. Escalatio
It seems that drones of the Substrate loose connection to the host units (Mastermind, Drone Hive). They just stay and fly circles in a place instead of following their host which moved on. That's just happening from time to time. Also, it seems that new drones are not produced (Drone Hive) from time to time although their host still has energy. So the Drone Hive unit becomes pretty useless.
It's strange, sometimes I have to press space and middle mouse button in order to have full view control sometimes not. It definitely changes later in the game. Can't change view but zoom and rotate.
Did anybody else experience this (?): in the beginning of a game you can pan the view completely free, all directions (even underground) by pressing the middle mouse button and moving the mouse. Later on in the game pressing the middle mouse button only turns the view in one dimension.
To cancel units in production you have to right click on the units in the production queue above the picture of the factory and to the left of the minimap.
The minimap doesn't really show you were your units are. Only the numbered battlegroups and, of course, sectors can be identified. Finding units is a pain in the *** overall. The unit bar on the left doesn't help at all. It's too hard to recognize units. Generally speaking, keeping an overview where your units are and what kind of units you acutally look at or what units your battlegourp contains is nearly impossible. Klicking for movement orders often doesn't work. Ge
Finally! An update of the Founders' Vault! That's what I was talking about. Good work! I was just about to get mad because I thought there still wasn't anything new but decided to check the FV first. And I was rewarded :-)
Cool idea!
I guess you have to test the game playing as a developer :-) It won't take too long until it's our turn I think. We'll see. As long as informations keep coming I am fine.
That's all I want! Some news about what's going on. Cool to hear what you are working on. Have those 5 lines really taken so much time and effort? Do that regurlarly so that people don't get frustrated after cheching by day after day without anything new from you developers. Would be very welcome!
@Frogboy: you got me wrong. I thought about an in depth look at each unit. But it doesn't matter. That was just a suggestion. I would just like to see more happening on this page. ASADDF's idea is not so bad either. Just some new stuff regularly.
If you asked me, I just would like to see more on Ashes in general. Nothing specific. But since you asked I would suggest presenting the units, one per week maybe. Give one or two screenshots and some concept art. Describe the idea behind the unit, what it's role is and what it can do (weapons, armor, speed, any special abilities; just roughly)
I am looking forward to that.
Would it mean too much of an effort to give this site more updates from part of the developers? The dev team is not too big if I am right, so this could be unfeasable but I stop by every day, sometimes more often, and it seems that time is standing still. Nothing much happening in the vault either. I have to admit that I sport a rather impatient kind of mindset and maybe it's too early in the developing stage to present new stuff frequently but maybe there is a solution that is good for e
Very nice article. Sounds ALL very promising! You got me exited about what the final visual fidelity will be like. The article generates high expectations. I also like the new vault content. I have a hard time waiting for updates but I like what you put in there. You generate a feeling that makes me believe that you are putting together something really cool. Keep the great work going!
Just stopping by to say, again, that I liked everything you told us about the game so far, Frogboy. I am eager now to get more info on units.
That is really good to hear! Thank you for answering!
@Ashbery76 Did you read the Lore pitch in the vault? A very interesting setting is presented there. It has a sad undertone, though, because of the implications of the bad sides of human charakter traits. I really like the background storry. And I really hope that Haalee will be able to confine the destructive, greedy, self-centered and compassionless human race!
