that brings up an idea.... what if they made a multiplayer mode akin to WoW, where each account you create sets you to one race, and theres this set "universe" and the players with the same faction are allies and such, and its a never ending conquest for control of the whole universe. building off his idea, the universe would hold sectors, sectors would hold galaxies, galaxies would hold systems, and systems hold planets. and whatever planets/systems you conquer, when you log

something ive noticed in some games ive played. resource mining upgrades: are they EVER worth it? i mean, they cost somewhere over 1000 credits after resource-to-credit conversions, and you get a 7% upgrade? wtf? thats going to take somewhere around, 20-30 minutes to payoff, and you can easily lose the game, or at least a planet or two(remember, the upgrade affects each extractor individually, so each planet you lose you lose the bonus for ALL the extractors you lost at that planet, t

if you've watched the history channel, you mightof caught something about how combat in space will likely go about. fighters wouldnt look like fighters of today, they'd be little cubes with thrusters on all sides, seeing as in space acceleration is indefinite and you would have to stop whatever you started by yourself. also, the fighters would be able to turn on a dime, literally. so basically, a "space fight" would look like a bunch of spasmadic cubes firing projectiles at ea
Or option number two is that a fleet of this size doesn't rest until either they are all dead or they've destroyed every planet in the star system. This way the fleet would eventually get widdled away to nothing or it would force everybody into conflict to defend themselves from a monstrous force (making the game much more interesting).
that does seem interesting..... having to ally with your next door neigh

i LOL'd when i saw that freaking WII SPORTS?!?!? made it!!! if wii sports made it, then wheres sins? starcraft? (sure, it wasnt made this decade, but COME ON, it has its own professional league in korea!), killzone 2, things like that? wii sports is a embarrasment to be on that list... i mean, its kinda addicting, expecially boxing, but after playing you're left like "wtf?" i just wasted a good bit of my life..

maybe someone should start a 1v1v1 game of fairly skilled players, and have one person play tec, one advent, and one vasari, and have em set up an early game rush situation. like, only research the upgrades you are likely to have early game or whatever. but anyways, just get each of the races to face off in a 2 carrier battle, supported by a early-game replica fleet. do a advent-vasari battle, advent-tec battle, and tec-vasari battle.

from what ive experianced, in most RTS games, early game is where the game is won or lost. but from what ive heard this game is different. when you get in game, whats the first things you guys usually do? mine is: 1.build a capship factory 2. build 2-4 scouts, set to auto explore as they are built 3. build extractors, in this order: chrystal, metal metal 4. build a few cobalts, send them to a nearby asteroid to conquer, meanwhile, my flagship goes to a nearby planet 5. by this

i agree with everyone here. when you here the term battleship, you think of something thats big, bad, and is going to kick some serious ass. also, you think of a special weapon on board that ship that, when used, is gonna tear huge holes in enemy fleets. imo, they got the right idea with the GRG, but like darvin said, with all the power it uses, you would expect some serious firepower. but it barely does anything.. maybe set it where it bypasses shield mitigation? (i dont understand shield mi
