Could be reading far too much in to this yet the huge 1.9 update seems like the kind of thing a company, say Ironclad, might do to draw a lot of people back in to Sins just in time for some sort of big announcement. Also could just be that they still want to just keep Rebellion relevant but I forever live in hope for Sins 2 :)

Question: Anyone else having an issue with Advent cap ships running a permanent 300% mitigation bonus? Not sure if its mod related or something with one of the recent Sins patches, but it makes them impossible to kill (16 Cap ships, hundreds of squadrons and an assorted number of flak/frigates cant make a dent even with the whole lot firing at one ship). If its useful at all the addons running are: Artifacts Bonus Density C

Fleet mini mod increases Cap ship/Fleet support, 20 Caps, 3000 Support, just extract it into your SoA folder, and let it overwrite what it has to.

Agreed with the Rebels, did not expect large groups to start appearing, and with the weakening of Starbase damage output they essentially stopped any plans of expansion, have spent the last couple of hours on pure defence, down to just Earth, Mars and Venus left now.
