agreed, an expansion that puts diplomacy in sins of solar empire just didn't sound that awesome when i first heard it... but it is awesome, enough said but be carefull what you say about the pirates, the whiners might get ya! (they got the pirates already)

yeah I like it, and if you dont, thats fine, just turn them off then. Whatever your vision for pirates is, doesn't quite matter, even if you belong to the majority, it's about what the developers of the game think pirates should be, if the majority would suddenly want that the space ponies achievement into a fleet of actual space ponies that would own everything, it still not gonna happen because its not what the developers have visioned for the game (im gonna asume anyway) if
All normal AI, I think they didn't care for the planet but for my fleet, after i retreated the little that remained of my fleet and scuttled the last of the defenses they seem to loose interest and scattered around only to leave 2 planet-bombers....
So after a couple a games in trinity I am quite pleased with all the changes, it made an awesome game even better, the 2 things im about to name, are not meant to complain, mind you, they just make me wonder, so for the first one, In a rather large map i managed to be friends with everybody while they were busy hating each other, diplomatic heaven you could say, and before long, i managed a diplomatic victory, now what i do not understand is following, since i was busy
allied victory means a victory with allies, so, if you are allied with 2 others, and the allied victory is set to 3 then you and your 2 allies win, when set to 2 then i think the 2 strongest of the allience win... or maybe they declare war... im unsure about that point, but with no allied victory you will either loose or win by yourself
Don't think that would work, a reminder would be distractive and an 'auto-decline' will back-fire easily, it wouldn't be the first nor the last time i complete missions within the last couple a minutes, either stop caring about the penelty or decline as soon as you get the mission if you don't feel like doing it.
sry but i just dont get this, i know im not that great in this game, i had alot of trouble dealing with a hard AI at point blank prior to diplomacy, so far the 'new' pirates are, well, tough, but overpowered? Hell no! (haven't updated to the patch yet) Im a turtle by nature so maybe that has something to do with it? recently i just let a planet be swarmed because i was convident my defensive structures combined with the newly created units coming from a border-planet w
pirates too powerfull?? wtf, they are, if anything, to weak! a random fleet of ships, numbering about 10 ships or more, should be able to kill a level 3 capital ship. maybe even half of that will do, depending on which ships the fleet consists I am guessing you need to get better at defense, did the capital ship had enough support? but sure, maybe your the economic or research type a guy and don't want to invest into a fleet early on, maybe not the best choice but oh w
