If you Play Advent and have enough resources, do not hesitate to take Mass Transcendence. It is nice. VERY nice
Here Is My list of 5 Most Useful Abilities In Game for each race and 10 for all races in general. Super Abilities not included. Bring your own ratings! Advent 1. Halcyon's Telekinetic Push 2. Radiance Detonate Antimatter 3. Halcyon's Amplify Energy Aura 4. Rapture's Vengeance 5. P
But the cobalt frigates were a surprise (to me at least).
It is because of their ability I suppose)
Also when they you say they have the best damage early game do you mean a disciple rush? Scouts and illums are nerfed. Drone hosts / strikecraft pack a punch but are very expensive. Destras are a long way off. If you mean disciples then I agree, but at least vs cruel or vicious AIs a disciple rush is suicide.
If you really think disciple rush is a suicide even against Vicious, you are a little nooby (sorry). I generally meant disciples and mainly de
Guys, skirantras should NOT be nerfed))) Or I would not win al MP with 16 Skiranras and ten dozen Lasurak)
Hmm not sure if the Halcyon cooldown reduction affects plasma on destras. Thought it was for beam weapons. Can anyone confirm?
Halcyon's "Amplify Energy Aura" affectts ALL weapons Advent has, even Psi Waves. Beam upgrades are nice, but do not overresearch them. They are just too expensive. However, if you have 100 fleet-based bomber squads you MUST research beam weapon range increase tech.
To compare Advent at cruel AI vs Vasari: I can win sometimes
It sounds like you're ready to move on to playing against human opponents over Ironclad Online if you're not doing so already. Come play with us in a Diplomacy 5v5.
Already playing sometimes.
Updated RAting for CS: 1) Skirantra 2) Progenitor 3) Halcyon 4) Kortul 5) Rapture 6)Sova 7) Akkan 8) Jarrasul 9) Radiance 10) Marza 11) Antorak 12) Vulkoras 13) Dunov 14) Revelation 15) Kol
Hmmm. Someone mentioned shield bestoval and am. I don't think they are related. I don't think you need AM to have shield bestoval. It is completely different for vasari phasic hangars though....
you reaaly DO NOT need AM for that. +1
It finally happened! I have beaten Vicious AI on Point blank map! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I decided to take vasari for this game and set random race choice for AI. I hoped it will not be vasari, but, as you can guess, it WAS vasari. I had quick start active and everything was set to fast, pirates downed. I chose Carrier as my first flagship, immideately built Lirtestra ML, 3 missile platform to hold on early attacks. I
bad types (Enforcer, Skirmisher).
I agree abot the second one up to a point, but first is just ridiculous, hard to take you seriously to be honest
And, to say in general, air superiority (how vandal is sounds for a space game) is the key to victory in diplomacy.
For example: if first level hull research costs 400/0/25 and gives a 5% increase in hull points, you should count like that: (100/5)#400=8000/ It is useful if your fleet costs 8000 credits including resources spent. I count 1 piece of metal or crystal as 3.2 credits. Each Flak to each destra. They will try to follow the destra all round while protecting it from strikecraft. Also, think of situation. If enemy spams LRF, especially vasari, you WILL need fi
and it will instantly be promoted to level 5.
A liitle correction - it will give the new halcyon the experience points of dead one, but you cant use it if targets level is similar or higher
1) Dominas are nice, but you should control them right. Good at taking group of high value ships (Subverters, for example). Also: they are compared with Subverter and Cielo, not the ships you mentioned. 2) Find frigates in a group close to each other. Targes you choose must be highly damage dealing, which gives the answer - HC or LRF must be targets, possibly flak, since advent are keen on strikecraft. 3) AoE, as I remember, not really good, but still usef
by the novalith fire ability not coming up, i mean that it's not even on the "control panel", there's nothing there except a "stop" option
That MOST PROBABLY means you don't curretly have 8 military labs required;
And no monster fans, TEC and Advent only?
Now you buff Kol....
1) Capital Ship? 2) Starbase? 3) Support Cruiser (Hoshiko/ Iconus Guardian/ Overseer) My opinion: 1) Skirantra 2) TEC's Argonev 3) The Guardian
I played a game recently as Advent and found a incompatible threat for everything of mine - Vasari LRMs. It was big map with 6 players, 2-2-2. 4 other players were in other star system, so I had to face Vasari one-on-one. So, problems: 1) In the beginning, after 10 minutes, we had a small fight: my lvl 3 Halcyon and 8 Disciples vs his lvl 2 Skiranra, 4 Assailants and 2 Skirmishers. I was heavily punched away as my frigates fell very quickly (much quicker than I expected) to on
Since we're on the topic anyways, here's my personal opinion of capital ship ranking (from overall best to worst; situation obviously changes these rankings somewhat):
And here is mine: 1) Skirantra 2) Rapture 3) Kortul 4) Radiance 5) Marza 6)Vulkoras 7) Sova 8) Revelation 9) Antorak 10) Jarrasul 11) Halcyon 12) Kol 13) Akkan
Akkan ( Advent Colony)
Since what times?!? the best thing against HCs and Capital ships is bombers yes, but they are expensive to get, flaks will take them out 1-1
it's time to surrender.
I did that to in Fact((( [e digicons]>:([/e]
Depends on the map. Generally on more spacious maps you want to go with colony capital ships, and on close-range maps you want to go with carrier capital ships.
Oh, Darvin 3, You are so wrong, to my opinion. Why do you get rid of Other three types? Especially if you play advent - level2 of Radiance allowa you to get a squad,
