Also, sometimes SOASE pisses in your face by making you the 3rd player. So do take note of that. One sure way to find out that u are spawning where u spawn is to put loads of money on 1 player first.
could u post the values for what u modded? I would also like to get my capital ships slightly more powerful. So far all i have done is make my battleships much faster (so they can hunt down cruisers) and make my carriers have 15 slots when they are lvl 10. Btw, how much frigates or cruisers will take down a battleship in vanilla? And did u alter the cost of battleships? they should be worht like 20-30 cruisers per.

Somehow, i was hoping someone wouldn't say that. Based on the .entity files, pirates get up to 2 upgrades per raid. And they have a maxnum research of 20 levels. Ill test out that concept.

The latest galaxy forge doesnt allow me to put all 12 artifacts, just 9. The only bonus im able to put in a planet is also just Crystal Miners. I know how to mod the effects of a starbases upgrade but i want to be able to make like 17 upgrades for a single starbase, to make it a super starbase. Anyone knows how? Modding the upgradecounts from 8 to 17 crashes starbases.

I think i might have been misunderstood. Well i believe that an efficient way modders mod/edit their progs would be to have different folders for different things, then they create each section (planets, research, etc) Then junk em all in the whole mod folder and sell it as a mod, the whole thing will run like butter on a butter knive. Im just requesting that Distant Stars make all those uncombined folders avaliable to the public for them
I know its a big mod file. So what i'd like to do (In order of importance): 2- Keep the research upgrades, love those. 1 - Remove the white space background, space is a deep dark place, I'd like it that way. 4- Remove most songs and particle effects. 3 - Keep the moons and stuff, i love those.

Heres how you do it. 1 - Get Galaxy Forge. 2 - Make a map, 2 Stars. 3 - In the first star, put your homebase, how many planets your heart desire and how many pirate base there are too. 4 - In second star, put your enemies homebase, and NO LINK to the main star, so that hes stuck there.
