Hello, How can I add trails to CursorFX paid version? When I go to the Stardock folder in my program files there is no folder that says trails. Also, when I try to add one in the Cursor program by clicking on new package all I see are two buttons: one says import graphics and the other remove graphics. After I do one or two states I get that dreaded message "CursorFX Theme Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". Then I have to hit ctrl/alt/delete to get out of it. I don't understand because the first few days after I bought the program it was working fine.

Yes, I found the effects and now I know how to make my own. SO much fun! Unfortunately, I can't use this program anymore because it keeps shutting down on me [e digicons]:([/e] Now that I learned how to make all this cool stuff I'm bummed! I've been going back and forth with tech support the last few days but so far they haven't been able to help me.

Thank you for your helpful advice. I was able to make some cool trails. The only thing is now I have to figure out how to make them trail behind the cursor instead of at the tip in front. The next thing I would love to do is add some more effects as well.

Is there some kind of diagram or pictures showing what the various states are in the theme editor? Some of them are called different names then when I go into my windows mouse folder and I'm not sure how to assign my graphics.

Thank you for your reply. I went to the themes folder and found the trails. However, all the trails I downloaded are PNG files. And some downloads have quite a number of them. Do I put them all in the themes folder even though they are not icons but just files?

I downloaded a bunch of trails and the directions say to put them in the trails folder. I have the paid version but when I look in the program folder there is no trails folder. Can anyone help me please?

You are so smart! It totally worked. I made a theme from my logo and I'm thrilled! This is so much fun. I can't wait to make a bunch more for my friends. Of course, I will never be able to create anything as awesome as a majority of the ones in the gallery. <p
