Ok, i will give it a try. Now where are the files? : ) I just want to say: I only used the resized stars files, but not the planets, now it looks more like real (woooo big bright sun), but the "Hills and Valleys" effect is heavy in there, i also had to resize the grav-well, because for some reason the ships wanted to flight into the star to make an interstellaric phasejump...Also the effect was so heavy ships wasn't able to phasejump to some "moons" because the tilting of the phaselin

I didn't code the "moons", they are included in the Distant Stars Mod. They aren't moons as you might thing, they are just very downsized planets which look like moons. They are not orbiting any planet (unfortunatelly). I just place them near a planet and put a phaseline between the planet and his "moons". In game all objects around a upsized star have veeery differ "hights". It's often that two neighbour planets has that much difference between high, that the phaseline is t

Nice Mod, i hope it's ok that i mixed it with Distant Stars? just made the stars bigger...the White, Blue, Yellow, Green and Red one. :) Now i have a problem.....all my moons are to far up or down from the main planet :(

I very dislike, that the planets stands still in their solar system, they should move in an orbit around their star and not just rotating on one place. : / The phasejumps would be abit hard to code i guess....but my idea is that the lines only connect planets who are reachable to eachothers without complications (means no other planets or stars in the way). To make it easier for the player it should be also a tab for planets in the menu between the diplomacy,

Cool thing, but i dislike the idea of colonizeable stars.....or is there a species of Dr. Manhattans? They surely can walk on the surface of a sun :D How about just capturable ressource asteroid mines like at a gas giant? that would make more sense what should it bring to capture stars? earning high taxes? :D All you need is a starbase...you actually can put four in a star gravi field. That should do the work too, might be abit expensive, but better

starfield.dds is the skybox texture. This black one that's called deep space i believe. However i mean i can see in game where the texture reiterates. There is no clean flow image in the skybox. I think i better make a screenshot... And what's with MIP maps? Generate MIP maps? Use existing? or No MIP maps?

Nice help, thanks, but i have one question: In which format type do i have to save the .dds? There are 30 different types in the Nvidia plugin for PS... I have that stars and planets textures mod and want to change the star textures abit (still more looks like a planet than a star). Also the starfield is pretty buggy, i can see the lines (or "scars") of the field texture....

Wow, that really helped, thanks! I had no idea that there is a tax on underdeveloped planets. I changed it like you suggested... set the population on level 2 for each extra planet the player has AND i gave them all the same amount of credits. Even then it took a while for the normal AI to build and develope constantly. But finally it works!

Hello, I have a Problem with the AI on a Galaxy Forge map in Diplomacy. I both added it in the manifest data and the Galaxy folder of Diplomacy and copied it in the Galaxy Forge folder of SoaSE. The map IS playable, BUT i Always get the same problem: The AI is not building more than a few scout ships and no orbital buildings. It's inactive after a minute or so, but NO instant victory/defeat! I get the Victory message after a few hours of playing. :( I also
