I can't get them to jump..I select the ships, I click the star I want them to go to, they go to the edge of the gravity well, and they just stay there, or it takes them a long time to initiate jump. it must be a bug or something..I'll restart the game to see what happens.

Hey guys..I just made a small 10 planets 2 stars map with galaxy forge, and I have a problem with the jumps between stars. I researched "long jumps" but my ships still can't jump to the other star...or when they do jump, it takes a long time to start the jumping sequence...for example I just managed to jump a kol to the other star, but it took about 30 seconds at 8x speed to do so...it just stays there as if it doesn't know what to do...did I do something wrong ? oh and the game is re
oh and a small problem about the ingame menu...is is suppose to have only singleplayer / multiplayer / ironcladonline / options / ? there is no quit button..so every time I want to exit the game, I have to disable the mod...it plays great, no crashes, no minidumps, only the menu is screwd up
I never play the mod with the original races..Is there a way to take the 3 original races out of the game , or to make the game not load them ? My pc isn't that good and I need all the memory I can get...I was thinking about opening the entity.manifest and delete all the tec, vasari and advent ships lines ...will that make the game not load the original ships files and free up some memory ?
I'm still playing my own modified version of the entrenchment 2.8, so I haven't downloaded the newest version for diplomacy....but I was wondering if there are any new ships in 3.5 that I don't have in 2.8 ...oh and what about the Coruscant planet textures ?
I just made the planets 3 times bigger, and it seems to me that they rotate a little too fast (like a day passes in 5 seconds)...is there a value somewhere that I can lower so the planets rotate a little slower ?
and it's the same with a frigate that I just destroyed..it keeps firing at mai ship, and it does damage too .(even though I destroyed it 10 seconds ago)
I have a problem with my long range frigates..They keep firing at the target for about 10 - 20 seconds, AFTER the target is destroyed..Did I do something wrong with the weapon settings ?
I don't know if my current pc will be able to play Rebellion that well, and I was wondering if it will be compatible with Entranchment or Diplomacy...will I be able to take the new ships in Rebellion and put them in my Entranchment mod? or the new Skyboxes?
does anybody know where I can find some nice skyboxes ? ..or some mods that have nice skyboxes?.. I'm just tired of that greeen and red and blue...I'm working on my personal modification, and I added custom ships, custom explosions, custom abillities, well, custom everything...and the only thing missing is..custom skyboxes..I tried modifying the original skyboxes in photoshop, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong, they end up sooo pixelated and look soo bad ingame.
I have diplomacy v1.1 and I want to upgrade it to the newest version, 1.34...Do I just install v1.34 over v1.1, or do I have to install all the patches between 1.1 and 1.34 ? And also I have some personal mods that I play with Entranchment v1.51. If I install the 1.34 patch, will I still be able to play mods made for entranchment 1.51 ?
after about 15 minutes I had 5 capitals and 3 planets colonized and I wanted to see how the ai was doing so I surrendered just to see the whole map..and it was doing just fine..with one capital..it also had 3 planets colonized, and on each planet it had a lot of structures and turrets.so it wasn't stuck..maybe it just didn't feel the need for another ship..yet..also in my mod the capitals are much stronger starting from 7000 hull. I'll try to lower the price even further to about
why is it that the AI doesn't like to build capitals ? I'm playing as TEC against Vasari..and I want to have a capital ship only game...so I took out the vasari frigates and cruisers (except scout and colony), I made the capitals half price (1500), I modified the capital ship slots research so that after research 1 the AI gets 10 capital ship slots...and still the AI builds only one capital ship..I destroy it and the AI builds another one..only one at a time..and that kinda just kills

This is for the Multiverse fans out there. I made my own mod with ships from SOA2, SOTYR, Requiem and the Freespace 2 mod. Here's one of the battles. The Galactic Empire and Earth Force are allies and they are at war with the Federation and the Terrans from Freespace 2.I think the battles look really cool with different kinds of lasers and different sounds specific to ships from different universes. Have a look and tell me if you like it.

Nevermind, I just had to install that Net2.0 thing and now it works.
I have a problem with galaxy forge..every time I try to run it, it says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application". Is there something else that I have to do to make it run ?I had it running a year or so ago, made a few maps with it, but now it doesn't wanna start anymore..I redownloaded it, reinstalled it, and the same thing..what could be the problem ?

I modified the file so I don't have to research it "NumResearchPrerequisites 0"...I can build it without research..the same with the ability AbilityPhaseGateModule...I'm thinking I have to make some other modifications to the ability file..
I gave the vasari phasegate to the tec, but it's not working..I can build it but it does nothing...if I build a phase gate on planet 1 and on planet 3, and I want to jump from 1 to 3, my ships still go through planet 2...is there another file that I have to modify ?

I really am having soo much fun ...the B5 and ST mods are my favourite Soase mods..and to be able to put them together in one mod is just..amazing...I really don't care about which universe is better... I balanced them against the original races, so in my mod it can go either way...and a battle between 10 omegas and 10 sovereigns looks soooo cool...
