I have 2 "MainViewIcon-Ship" diferent files...i want to take one picture from one file and put it into the other...how do i do that ? i just copy-paste the coordinates of the ship image from one file to the other ? thanks..

now i realize that it would have been weird if the structures were to be capturable...in the original Sins i mean, with the original races...if you, as the TEC, would capture , let's say, a Vasari Capital Ship Factory, from wich you could build TEC ships.....TEC ships from Vasari factory....however, it would'n be that weird if the races had the same structures (like in SW)...or if you play against the same race with same structures...
how can i make an orbital structure to be capturable ? like the extractors are..
so if an enemy planet is very well developed,is it better to use "blockade" and "embargo" on it, or should i invade/colonize ? which is more profitable?..cause in the short run, i think "blockade" / "embargo" is much more profitable..
but i thought "embargo ability" does that
it just didn't feel right about bombing the population of a planet out of existance...but all i have to do is think about it differently...i'm not bombing the people, i'm bombing the military bases, before i invade/colonize....and about the "blockade ability"...i presume it stops that planet's production?
yes, but can you invade/colonize enemy planets ? without bombing them out of existance?
i have 2 questions: 1. what does "blockade ability"do? 2. "invasion ability" works exactly like "colonize ability" and you can invade only neutral planets, or can you invade also enemy planets?
is it posssible ??? i am making a mod where i want to disable ''colonize'', but still being able to capture asteroids..even if i don't own the planet, i can capture the asteroids around the planet...is it possible???

all you have to do is change some lines in the ships entity file..i just did it...and it works for me..it's just a matter of taste i think... i personaly like the smaller gravity well...and i actually want to see the ships that i'm shooting at...a very important part of this game are the battles..and i love watching those...especially now that i modified the ships ranges and the ships get very close to each other before shooting...
i'm trying to convert the entity files to text.. but i can't figure out how to do it..i tryed harpo's program, but it's not working..any help please...i just want to make the gravity wells a little smaller and also to reduce the ships ranges a little bit........edit : nevermind, i figured it out :)
hi..great mod..is there a way i could get my hands on an older version of this mod, before you made the ships smaller ? cause i'm working on a little mod for myslef,trying to put the Galactic Republic and the CIS against the original races of the game...and with these little models , it would look soo weird against the original ships of the game..thank you edit : and i have no idea how to restore the ships to their original sizes..
i downloaded your mod today...i had a little problem with the PipelineEffect folder (everything was invisible, planets, asteroids, ships)..i deleted it and now works fine...i just wanna say this : when my first big battle started, i almost cryed..seriously....sooooo beautifull..the ships, the effects...i looove it all..thanx guys for this incredible mod (i just uninstalled Star Wars Empire at war )
hi..i made a little mod for myself where i added some of your ships to the original Sins... i have a little problem...i also want to have the ships icons in the game..but if i put those files of the sips icons in the modfolder, won't the game crash or something ? cause the game will only look in those files, and there are only the image files of the new ships..it won't find the images and icons of the original ships...i mean, from what i understand, the game will only use the modified files that
i'll turn it off and see what happens..for the light frigate i use a different model which has guns that can fire from all sides, front, back and sideways...and i will download the DBS Mod, but only to take the speed stats for the light frigate, the only ship in my game that i want to move and shoot...the other ones i prefer them to be static while shooting...thanks again...
thanks Mystic Angel...changing usesFighterAttack to TRUE did the trick for me...now my light frigates learned how to move and fight at the same time...how cool is that:) also what happens if i change "preferstofocusfire" from TRUE to FALSE ? the ships fire their weapons at other targets besides the designated target at the same time?
hi..i really love how you made the ships move like that while in battle...please ca you tell me what file i have to modify to make the ships in vanilla Sins move while they fire??..is it just an entity file modification?? is it an ability ?..thanx. i really don't know much about modding...i only know how to add stuff to the game or modify existing stuff..
I've been following your mod for some time now..i'm a huge B5 fan..and this is an incredible work you are doing...my favourite is the Omega destroyer...breathtaking..simply breathtaking...maybe it's because of that rotating module, but the ship looks sooo..alive...if you know what i mean...i even added it to my original Sins , so now the Tec have 6 capitals..keep up the good work..and keep those ships coming..
