This just started happening to me today as well. Clicking the taskbar menu does nothing unless I close some apps or click several times.

I'm having trouble with registering Start 11 for this pc. This happens when reinstalling Windows and reinstalling Start 11. The dialog box says it's unable to install because it's active on another system. I've purchased one copy for each system and all three have come up with the same message. I've already had to uninstall and reinstall several times to get the other two working. How to fix this?
It seems the "All Apps" button has been missing on the start menu since the last two updates. Nothing is there until I hover over the spot, and then a text box pops up for renaming the 'pinned' group.
Having no idea why this won't upload. I changed the size.
The Start11/Win11start menu looks so much better in Windows 10 than the original.. at least to me. Unlike many, I actually like Windows 11. I'm forced to keep Win 10 on the main system and never really got used to all those tiles and different colors. Fantastically well done job on this.
Okaaayyye. Can't thank you enough, Stardock. Once again, you make Windows usable. I've got it on Win 11 beta and will soon try it out on Windows 10. signed, Lifelong Customer
Thanks. It wasn't there (might've been overwritten), but your suggestion helped discover the dscache folder where I might find it or something else like it.
Where can I find the folder for stills downloads? I just had to reset my pc and have lost a favorite DeskScapes wallpaper, can't find it anywhere online or local. I don't even remember the name of the image, hoping it might be stored somewhere on the pc since I chose keeping my files.
I like Windowblinds but I am enjoying Curtains as well. I've been using 'blinds since the early 2000's and could not live without it for the most part, but then as Microsoft began continuously changing and updating Windows, my systems started having more trouble with installing, loading, and stability. Plus, I'm not much of a customizer anymore, just want to make things easier to use because my eyesight is failing, and Curtains is doing that for me because I can download and apply styles with
I am on a different laptop now. This one is 17.3 with resolution at 1600 x 900 and noticed some flashing in the control window as well. It only lasts a second or two when starting or changing themes.
I'll add a few things, don't know if it will help or not. I'm a long time user of Stardock software and just downloaded Curtains after some hesitation before the big win 10 update. So far, so good. Actually I am pleasantly surprised at how good it is. A couple of issues I'm having though. One is that the laptop I'm using now is an 11 inch HP convertible, and I can't get the Curtains control screen window size to fit within my display and can't seem to find a way to scroll down, so I can only
Open tab bar shows up by itself on new desktop in Task View (I still use it). Is this meant to happen?
I just wanted to say something more on this. I've been using Windowblinds since way back when with Win '98 and never had (at least can't recall) having any troubles with it other than an occasional clash with some other program, and those have been few and far between. This is the main reason this time it caught me by surprise. I'm not on the Windows Insider fast or slow ring, but do sometimes take advantage of early releases, as I did with the Creators Update (I do an awful l
Probably time to mention it again: To prevent Windowblinds from loading at boot, hold down [Ctrl] while pressing [Enter] at the login screen.
Very good information. Thanks.
We sent an email a while back informing folks of the need to upgrade to address that very issue. Did you not get it? I'm glad you recovered though.
Thanks. Never knew about that one.
Hello all, After installing CU, everything seemed to be going fine until I got to the point of signing in. The screen then went black with nothing else but a mouse cursor moving around. I noticed the sound of Windows disconnecting something and then reconnecting, then disconnecting again. Not trying to be mean here but figured it might have something to do with Windowblinds, so I backed out to the logon screen and did a shift/restart to get to the troubleshooting menu and then went in

I've been using Windowblinds since Win98 although I don't show being a member that far back. I can still recall looking for so many ways to improve the Windows desktop from a program called "Plug-In" by Plannetcrafters to another called "Window Magic" (don't remember who made it) that allowed the user to roll up windows and had some nice wallpaper to go along. When Stardock came along with Windowblinds, that was it. I was hooked. Now I can't think of what I would do without it
This is another wonderful program by Stardock. You kind of sneaked it up on us but still very well done. I have been using since yesterday and no problems as of yet. Now if only I could get Windowed apps on the Start screen, Windows will be halfway back the way it was meant to be for desktop users.
Well now all a sudden it's not doing it. If it happens again I'll provide a screenshot. Thanks.
Question. I am using Atlantis word processor. Every time I open it, a button shows up in the upper left corner and stays there until I minimize or close the application. I have spoken to Atlantis about it and they say it must be something in Windowblinds causing it. Is there anything that can be done about this or it is normal? I am running the latest version of Windowblinds, Win8.1, (it has also happened with past versions) and only with Windowsblinds running.</
With the success of ModernMix, how about developing some sort of app link for grouping and opening applications commonly used together all at one time? It would be nice to do that with one click. Would that make sense? Is there already something like that? Thanks.
So far this has been a good feature for me. I can see the most recent programs used and go back as needed. However, would be nice to an option not to do this.
It seems to happen every time I go to pin a win 8 app to the taskbar. I just tried it with the calendar and the same thing happened. Whenever I right-click, the menu pops up then disappears before I can select pin to taskbar. Still, I love this program. I'm actually using the win 8 apps now!
It's wonderful. I love this program and wondered why...just why Microsoft had not done this in the first place. One little annoying thing though. When I go to pin an app, the selection menu disappears before I can select and so I have to bring back up it up again.
