If you look closely at many ships especially capships the weapons often dont seem to match the models. If you look at the other 2 carrier caps none of them have planet bombing gun models. If you look at the Skirantra more u can see that the side wave guns use the model for pulse beam guns and there are no missile tubes on the front either (for comparision of pulse beam guns and missile tubes look on other Vas caps). For a related strangeness look at the TEC Sova and Du

I used to like the Kol until I learned how useless it is. I still like the look of it but hardly ever build it even in SP anymore.

I like the blue one its like tau 37 in freelancer I do agree that its unrealistic though. I always assumed it would be like the map was in a huge nebula or something, but I'm not sure if we have found any that big. I name first 3 or 4 caps starwars, british navy, mythology, other sci - fi names and sometimes change them based on events eg. I had a lvl10 radiance that died named Void Dragon and its resurrected replacement (progenitor ultimate) was named wraith dragon oh and the progenitor got renamed Osiris' Word, or the kol that was renamed Vanidas' Hope after helping the Asteroid Vanidas repel repeated advent attacks. Names I remember using Executor

I don't know enough about what the engine is capable of to know whether this idea is simple or not. But what if the bonus for killing enemies was reduced over distance(number of phase lanes away from your empire) and a big bonus if you are killing their enemies in a gravity well where they are present.

What if the Deliverance Engine reduced allegiance equal to the amount the target planet would need to reach 100% and say 50% against 100% or greater plus a lingering effect that prevents colonization for a few minutes. That would give it a `one shot rebellion` effect on low allegiance planets and make it effective in numbers against high allegiance planets. I think this idea would make it as worthwhile as the other superweapons.
I'm still personally hoping to have guidance and repulse swapped, so that guidance becomes a cruiser ability and repulse becomes a capital ship ability. It'd instantly make the Revelation quite popular...
I love this idea though it might require an edit to the revelations info to state that in affects more than just populations.
