personally, kinda glad it wasn't included. it's entirely to big (size of a "small moon") and the weapon system is well beyond that of your standard starbase (it destroys panets). that said though, I could see it as a Unique starting planet...would add a bit of fluff and provide the visual aspect even if it didn't do anything but sit there like a lump on the log.~

is it any good? a matter of taste I suppose. I like it. :) yes...entrenchment works with Diplo. they effectively build upon each other and include everything before: Original-->Entrenchment-->Diplomacy. so one can play diplomacy and it includes original and entrench....but, if you play entrench it only includes the original. make sense, or clear as mud? heh~

this should probably be "stickified" imo. given they hid the mod folder in the hidden files section. ....hopefully future products they put out will have the mod folder a lil easier to find for the "common man".~

oh yeah....well aware of the 2gig cap (serious bummer). I like to run things at my standard settings and then slowly work my way down as needed to try and find that sweet spot for game play. :) along a similar line though, I assume you all have "optimized" or plan on doing so? if not...may want to, if for no other reason so you all can cram even more goodies into the mod. :) ~

loaded up the latest versions late last night and spent about an hour an a half playing before wandering off to get some sleep. I was thoroughly impressed with it...all of it. …after checking out the previous 29 pages of notes and getting a general "feel" for the mod and it's reception by everyone, I am looking to be downloading this one for play. Also, as a few have mentioned, I would also love to see this ported into diplomacy (which it appears you are going to be doin). Porting into diplomacy just seems like the "smart" move imo. Ok, now I think we are all missing one another although this is ok as it all is something I am interested in. I was originally refering to individual faction ship skins, and factions on the whole (skins and stats) be put in and how would the game react to them (even if these were not selectable as a "playable" faction). Well, had my first "real" sit down session last night with the mod…and I am one happy lil camper, if for no other reason, my favorite lil ship is in the mod, the Steamrunner.
