[spoiler] Now that I know how to do the tangents properly, the XSI mod tool has decided to not work in my favor .. or .. at all. I suppose it's because it's been unsupported for so long that it's simply incompatible with newer systems, even in compatibility mode. In short I simply cannot create tangents in my scene anymore. I've deleted the tangents and the extra texture projection from the last time and now I can only get as far as creating the second texture
Well, the good news is that I did get it into the game. (Kudos to you, guys) Advent rebels can now pick from two titans and it doesn't crash the game, which is cool. It even flies facing the correct way forward and shoots from the right points. That's one success. The bad news is that the tangents/shading are totally broken, making the ship a bit of a pain to look at. So.. I've been trying to add a single titan to the game (or at least replace an existing one). Simply because I always wanted to have my own ship in the game... but anyway: In short, by following numerous tutorials I have managed to add hard points and tangents to my ship, convert it to mesh from XSI and somewhat set up the entities, manifests and the whole mod folder so that the ship should appear as a titan for Psi-rebels. Hi. Maybe I missed something, but is there any way I can spawn starbases on planets with GalaxyForge? I've got the Entrenchment with no mods, but the GF only allows me to spawn original ships and modules (no starbases, constructors, etc.). Can I add them to the list somehow? Thanks for help.
One thing I'd like to know is, if there's any way to see textures in the simulation. I don't like looking at bunch of orange squares... By the way, the link is not working.
