The way it is now there is no reason to not suicide run your titan at the start to get it's levels up. If it lost it's levels when killed people would be more protective of their titans and not use them stupidly.
Try doing this against a decent human opponent online and see how far it gets you. His titan will level up more from the XP gained from killing yours, then say goodbye to a planet or two when he pushes and

1. I would like some insight on the TL faction too. I main TL but it seems rebels is almost always a better choice so I'd love if anyone else could shed some light on the subject. As for the advantages of other races: TR has a slightly easier time with NPC militias and has access to the most 'glass cannon'ish of all the titans, and can seriously dish out tons of damage. AL has... culture stuff. AR has a very powerful AOE titan and wail of the sacrifice, which can instagib fleets i
Quoting JuleTron, reply 10That is a slight exaggeration. Like I said, they aren't useless, but the game is all about titans...once titans start coming out, fleet compositions revolve around titans 100%...you build bombers to kill the titan, you build fighters to protect the titan, you spam support ships to buff the titan and caps, you build flaks to deal with fighters (used to protect the titan), you spam HCs or LRFs to focus
Quick question from a new player: I am playing in a single player game (to learn how the game plays). I have Steam version of the game (bought via Steam). Do I keep my replays and saved games after patching process is done?
Yes it will download automatically and no it WILL break your saved games and r
There aren't 1000+ players playing Sins online. I usually see numbers between 100-300. Remember that a majority of Sins players only play SP instead of MP though. It's easy to find games... but I dunno if I'd say it's easy to find GOOD games. In my experience a good number of people are hosting games that have pirates on or are like FFA with unlocked teams or something, in addition many of them are noobs who still haven't gotten the hang of MP strate
Quoting Volt_Cruelerz, reply 7Kol is bad period. There are simply better choices under most circumstances. You get a L6 Dunov? Get a Kol. Going against Advent spamming bombers? Get 2. Most other options? Get something else. Only reason it seems good in SP is because the AI is stupid and wastes it's precious DPS on it. Which is exactly what I just said. The Kol strategy
Wow. A member of the forums makes a suggestion of what he feels would make the game more interesting and you assholes tell him to go play a different game... You guys who play online rush through the game just to win, avoiding all the small nuances that make this game great. Thank God, I play single player only as the multiplayer crowd seems to be a bit more rude and immature ... Khezef, I agree random events would ma
