Names matter not, i just wanna see these behemoths go head to head.[e digicons]}:)[/e] Also, if the general concenous is that the 'Shathak' and 'Cyhyraeth' are the new Vasari and Advent capitals and the 'Charybdis' (vasari) and 'Cherubim' Advent) are titans of unknown factions (loyal/rebel, that only leaves 3 heavy hitters to show. The corisponding loyal/rebel titans for the Vasari/Advent and the TEC's new capital
just give it a high culture resist
would only work against advent. even then they'd send a couple of scouts to die and keep the sight
For all those worrying about balance how would a one time only version work for capitals. use it once then it breaks Or perhaps a leash style, the capital is only yours as long as the titan is still in play. once the titan dies the ship is released
Me thinks someone got their but whooped one to many time by the advent
Do you think either or both of the Advent Titans would have an advanced for of Dominion? If so would it be able to take groups of ships, say 5-10 or would it be a captital version with a killer antimatter cost and cooldown for balance?
Quoting JA_394, reply 4 Vasari Loyalists and Rebels both. I'm in the midst of a Vasari craze right now, so I'm dying to see both. Something no one has talked about yet, won't each new faction have their own NEW Star Base??? Why would they? Starbases were developed when they were both one faction. Why duplicate the research costs with resources they don' have to come up with a
TEC Rebels, the titan looks bitching. Though that may just be bacause it was the first shown, depends on what the other 4 look like
I know it's not essential, but will the pirates have their own voice in rebelion, as an advent player who prioritises in Raptures it's a little unnerving to make a pirate fleet to send in advance of the main and hear nothing. Sure it goes in with the whole hive mind thing but even Vasari and TEC ships speak after they’re taken. Can’t be to much to ask to give them an opinion, I’m sure the titans, new caps and the corvettes will be voiced
But good players understand that the AI is, frankly, pretty horrible at strategy and tactics, compared to how a decent player would act.
i can vouch for that, once had a starbase at a plasma storm choke point, the AI just kept sending in a midi fleets with a 15+ carrier escort, slaughtered, damn near almost made me fell sorry for them. And the did it 5 time!
i was sorta thinking they could tweak the Sivuskras, instead of deploying it's mines arroung it, it spits them forward in a line, or sneeze them like a shotgun. of course they would have to be altered from the standard mines, less damage due to the ranged capacity
ot sure if it's been raised or not, but it just came to me. What if the anti structure cruisers could attack the titan. I mean how could they miss? I’m prepared for a backdraft, but I thought it was worth mentioning
Well, the only one who could would be one of us and I don't know that I feel like it.
Comeon Yarlen, think of the PR if it survives and can go on to clear the gravity well. Mines that can sink even the highest lvl capital being nothing but bugs on a wind sheild... unless the titan isn't as storng as you claim it is. We want proof dammit, a mere snipit to calm the raviging dogs which are the players.
I'm putting it out there, who amoung us is willing to launch a full fledged titan straight into a concentrated minefield and seeing the result, and i'm note talking about catching the side of the field, i'm talking about hammering it right into the centre
that may not be a crazy as it seems, what if the titan could tow a starbase to another gravity well? fully up grade one in a safe planet and then jump it to an enemy's, plus it would help if you put it in the wrong place the first time
the rebels had the blueprints backwards?
atleast mirrored
To show their unhappiness with the Trade Order they fly backwards?
Why not? it would make retreats more interesting, all the firepower point towards the attacking force, giveing the rest of the fleet an easier time running
am i the only one who thinks the flipped Kol may infact be the rebels version?
make you wonder on the shapes of the other 4, give us the names of them, throw us a small bone. i just hope they have a moderate turning circle, the last thing i'd want is to lose half it's health to a misplace minefield
this is only a small thing, but i can't be the only one wanting it. Pirate voices, it's a bit unnerving playing advent and 'building' a pirate fleet, telling them to attack and .... silence. give them some personality, a bit of yohoho, or perhaps a tade of jack, Savy?
know it's probably already been put forward, but what about planet guns, extra bit of help against those pesky pirates
crazy idea for the Vasari titan, a frigate/crusier crusher. similar to the Orkulus's debris vortex but can suck in a fully funtional enemy ship, plus if the titan has high enough health it'll spit out a converted vessel for you, but only if it's above say 80% health?
This ship is bristling with guns on four wing pylons, probably a mix of long and short weapons, kinetic and beam weapons most likely. Have more strike craft than a carrier capital, and missile weapons loads. And now the business end of the ship... I can't wait to see the Vasari's Titan Class Super Capital.....
by the look of it may only have 3 arms, with its top slightly off center (fits the TEC's style) but tha
How about a titan coloniser? get the massive ship in and jusr have it crush. literally flatten everything on your enemys planet and colonise it at the same time at the lose of the titan (but a heaps cool looking planet). The bonus, massive increase in credits/metal/crystal for a time and the planet get surface to space defences and defence for the novolith. the down side the planet becomes barren in about 30 mins or 1 hour leaving behind a planet version of a dead asteriod?&nbs
am i the only one who wants to see a titan v titan slug fest, or to watch an oppenents fleet just vanish once it lets all hell loose?
