Ok so I'm a little parnoid, seriously though is it nessasary to be running all the time? How did it get installed, it doesn't show up in the add/remove software listing. Wwhat would be the effect of uninstalling it? It is after all using resources and if I don't need it. I believe it is probably part of Skin Studio which right now I'm probably not going to be using. I do appreciate your response and find Stardocks suites quite impressive and I am using a lot of the products they sell.</

I just discovered this little video recorder nestled on my taskbar & from what I have been able to determine it is connected to, associated with stardock skinstudio. Can anyone tell me what this is and for what purpose it was installed on my computer? Looks like a security issue to me. Any advice on how to best get rid of it? dieboldt
Thanks for the information. I'm a little leary of letting an applicatations have absolute control over what is installed. So I have been doing restore points prior tp installations.
Greetings, I'm new to WindowsBlinds and I'm looking for some help. To start with I want to save my original desktop which is setup with fences. When I go to the skins section where all of the skins are, it shows as default desktop as the last skin I tried Not what my default was. I want to change colors on some of the skins, to fit my taste. Will I be able to continue using Fences or will I have to use something that is designed in Blinds? I'm running Vista Home Prium on A 64
