Just bought the KVM version and have been setting up both the KM and KVM modes so yes it can be done. If you go into the seamless mode tab and add computers there, then those are the ones you have keyboard and mouse control over. Go into the KVM tab and add computers there, those are the ones you can control completely via the primary computer, using the primary computer's display as a virtual monitor.
I purchased the KVM upgrade yesterday and wow, I don't know how I managed without it. This is exactly the software I've been searching for. Anyway the thing is I'm now considering upgrading from the standard KVM edition to Pro, so I can add a laptop and surface pro to be remotely accessed from my primary desktop, alongside the second desktop I have full KVM control of now. I'm having the same issue after upgrading from the Object Desktop version, to the KVM edition today.
