I think the brown areas should be a sort of raw metal look. In the lore of 40k orks are scavengers and all about function when they build ships so they don't really paint the ships alot. I have a strange bug, in main menu only the top 3 buttons are there. Check for updates, play diplomacy, exit game are not. The exit game button is the most annoying since I have to either turn off the mod or use task manager to kill game.
I think you forgot a testing stat. Pathfinders cost 1+1+1, have 5,000 hull and shield and do 5000 laser damage. No need for a fleet, just kill the galaxy in the first 5 min with a swarm of megascouts.
