The Kol is the only TEC capital ship I hate, because it is so pathetic in comparison to every other capital ship, especially its contemporaries, the battleships.
Zeta1127
The major problem with the Kol is its totally dependent on AM to be of any real use, which is a problem no other capital ship has.
Is there any way to fix the Advent AI's stupidity in the way it uses its Aeria Drone Hosts in Entrenchment and Diplomacy, because that would fix some things right there?
Not going to happen in Rebellion either.
Side note: I really hate the design of the Nebulon B. It has that skinny spar section. A few good hits right there, and you've just torched that ship into oblivion. It's an extremely unsafe design; I've no idea how it managed to reach mass-production.
KDY only knows how the Nebulon-B has all of those turbolasers and laser cannons.
My point is, you have to make them hold position, otherwise, they will put themselves in harms way.
Strike craft can engage anything in a gravity well, and the best way to manage carriers is to either send them in a circle or disable auto-attack on the carrier capital ship by right clicking on it.
I suspect that part of the reason why the Advent pack mines is because they use Aeria Drone Hosts as minelayers exclusively since Drone Hosts gained the ability.
I just got to play what is probably an older Entrenchment version, and I like it a lot, the Constitutions as scouts was a nice touch.
I don't have SC2 yet, primarily because I don't have a computer capable of handling it yet. but I have been paying close attention to the happenings with it. I am also irritated with the lose of some protoss and zerg stuff too, specifically the dark archon (Blizzard, give me one good lore reason for this, when the protoss are facing extinction!) and the lurker (doomed from the beginning by the zerg tech tree shuffle that made them Tier 3), and even some terran stuff being campaign spe
Indeed, it is a real shame that the Nebula -class SD and the New Class in general have largely been ignored by the EU.
Quoting Whiskey144, reply 48Quoting danielost, reply 47i think the vasari titan should be able to tow their starbases through a jump. i am sure that if i was running all the time i wouldnt want to waste that much resources on a starbase and leave it behind. their bases can already move. naturally well towing a base niether would be very good at fighting, if they could fight. I love this idea. It could fit p
The Nebula -class Star Destroyer is probably the best general deployment Star Destroyer design ever produced, and therefore one of if not my most favorite Star Destroyer class of all time.
Making the Advent AI not exclusively use Aeria Drone Hosts has minelayers would help.
I believe that both creation and evolution have their merits, so to chose one over the other doesn't work for me.
I was waiting on GalCivII to go on sale, but that kind just happened, so now it would have to be Dawn of War.
Hey will Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity automatically come with the v1.2 upgrade in the stores? If so, I want to buy the Trinity version from target, although i already own the game of the year edition, is it worth it to buy because of the upgrades or should i stick with the version i have already? Please Help! (before my urge to take an advancement on my allowance takes over!)
Depends on whether
Exactly, challenges would be great, but a fully developed campaign simply just isn't going to happen any time soon.
I figured it out, you can specify a drive in Impulse before hand, excellent.
I recently got the Ultimate Edition because of the sale, and it works fine, but Impulse installed it on my C:/drive without asking me which drive to install it on, is this normal? I want it installed on a different drive, can it be done?
Episode III would have been easier to understand if Qui-Gon Jinn's lines were in it like the novel, maybe they will add them in a later edition. Episode II was all about politics, and Episode I just wasn't nearly as good of a starting point as Episode IV, but with out the Prequel Trilogy's story, the Original Trilogy wouldn't exist. Many people, myself included, consider Episodes VII, VIII, and IX that never were to be the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, three
It was digital download, not the boxed version, though it shouldn't be that difficult to create a hard copy of the latest version.
Maybe the new capital ships will be the scrapped ones from pre-beta Diplomacy, which are the TEC Vera Destroyer, the Advent Salvation Destroyer, and the Vasari Marrasek Destroyer, respectively.
The Ultimate Edition is fully patched to the latest version of Twilight of Arnor, I would know, I just got it because of the above mentioned deal.
The Aeria Drone Host has been 20 supply since I have been paying attention to such things, must be an old version.
