Well then maybe he can just be a 3rd/5th player who immediately surrenders, that would work , right?

That's one thing, but for a tournament that I feel would keep viewer interest it needs to be somehwhat simplistic and straightforward. Handful of planets, handful of ships. I was thinking give each person/team a capped amount of command/supply numbers and let them pre-choose their fleet before the match and thats what they start with on the homeworld, and they have the option to forgo some flee
I was really torn on where to place this, mods, multiplayer organizer or sins multiplayer. Hope I made the right choice. I also hope this is a relatively new idea, though I severely doubt it. My apologies in advance if this is the case. So I've been watching the EvE Alliance Tournaments, they're really the only reason I am involved in EvE aside from mild interest in whats happening in nullsec. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to put together a torun
Honestly as an "athiest" I often wonder if there is a creator, science can discover how the universe works and I do believe in some of the theories presented on how it all started, but there is still the question of how it all started, I mean, do we know what ignited the big bang? Perhaps we'll never know. However I do believe there is overwhelming evidence that discredits the book of Genesis entirely, in terms of planetary age, order of formation, and order of huma
Wait, what's going on? Why can't I log in to the forums???!
I don't feel I was ripped off, the titans are very nice and with the split factions, we basically got 3 new races out of the deal, and really 6 new races on an ability standpoint, each having a unique approach to gameplay that should give you plenty of hours to toy around with and try to win a game using a completely different approach. For 40$ that's fine by me, but I pay typically 15$ monthly for most of my games so a 40$ one time payment is a non-issue for me.
Vasari being able to bypass shields entirely is nice, but unless you're not micromanaging your targets in a fleet fight, I don't really feel like any one race has a major advantage of focus fire, but I spam my target orders constantly because I don't trust the AI to remain focused after 1.5 seconds. Without micromanaging I'd agree with Volt and say TEC are clearly the best choice. I should note I vocally chant 'DIE DIE DIE!' everytime i right cli
I am going to weigh in on the matter. In my personal opinion, I like pie.
I would love it if this were true and the plan for a sequel would be more story driven and explore the mystery of the Vasari nightmare.
Always autosaving. I get crashes for the weirdest reasons, and I can go back to a previous autosave and replay through and it will be fine, so it can't be a resources issue, in fact never should be a resources issue, I have 3 times the memory the game can even use. [e digicons]:D[/e] The last two times it happened was in a gravity well with two large fleets and I zoomed out then changed my mind and zoomed back in and it didn't like being touched
I usually solve this by changing my camera angle, i dunno if its superstition or some kind of weird programming deal but it seems like changing my camera angle often opens up paths on the screen and suddenly the ships go, 'Oh, now I see where to go!'. I've always wondered about it, I notice if I sit in one angle indefinitely at that angle there are ships on top of one another and nothing moves, so the moment I change the angle and as the camera pans it reveals the gaps in 3d space
Sacrificing one upgrade point from a starbase is not a bad tradeoff for making novalith spam entirely useless. Has the added bonus of frustrating AI players into trying to attack the planet with the SB on it. Easy capship xp, just hang out by the SB.
For me, the gunslingers horrible ability delay, the insane amounts of lag in ilum, the fact that the graphics weren't all that great but still managed to make my video card work like a dog and caused excessive heating issues were definitely my top 3 reasons for leaving. That, and after my second character when you hear the same stories you did the first time through, the luster of the movie cutscenes begins to wear off and becomes just a waste of time to try to sit through, so you spaceba
Personally, I don't see a problem with subscription based games. I'd actually much rather pay a monthly service and know what I'm getting than a play2win (because lets face it, thats what f2p is 90% of the time) where we find out later if we want access ot everyting we have to break out our wallets and in the end it ends up costing us more than a monthly subscription would have. Personally, I will never pay for a single item in a f2p game. And to be honest, I don't think the m
Haha, I just realized how OP it was, the computer used it correctly, I guess. I've never run into a problem killing one until now, fully maxed fleet, I set the corsev as primary and set my titan to subjugate. After several minutes it dawned on me the capital was still up and that confused me. So I got smart and took my revelations off autocast and manually shut him down by disabling him in serial nd turned my titan off pansy mode to boot-to-rump vulcan
I'm running my AI's on normal or whatever the default is, they seem to be doing just fine. Maybe the higher difficulty AI's are tearing each other up in their respective strong fields? So all a player needs to do is survive the initial onslaught and suddenly there's no one left to attack you.
I wonder how long it will take tho till someone finds it out...Or until the devs just release the info... edit: Maybe they will find it out when Sins 2 comes out(Coming to you SOON(™)(If you play EVE online you know that means anything between today and the end of the universe))
Yeah I just let my subscription run out because I just did a ton of training to get faction BS and now I
I like the big ships. [e digicons][/e] My play style (again versus AI only) has always been build a steamroll fleet and go zerg the biggest fleet I can find and pop all their titans capitals and starbases. I don't really know if 2 could keep my fleet alive at all times, I would think with just two ability cooldowns that you'd end up letting something slip through the cracks...in any case, overkill is my motto. =P I also try to
I usually like to have 5 Kols, 4 dunovs, 2 sovas, 2 marzas and one akkan. Pre-titans I had 2 akkans and 3 sovas. I tend to roll with alot of hoshikos too, somewhere on the magnitude of 40-70. (AI player only =P) EDIT: I usually build a free Kol and quickly stake out 5-7 planets and turtle for a while until I finish fortifying the border worlds, upgrading the interior logistics slots and planetary updgrades and finish all my research. Then I start building a massive flee
Yeah, that would be nice. I had 4 starbases on my home star and they were constantly under attack but hendling themselves well, so I focused on my campaign to crush the guy that was bombarding my planets from another galaxy and somehow missed that he jumped in 27 Ogrov cruisers, my only clue was when it was time to replenish my frontline forces as all 4 bases were advanced subcap factories, and no matter how hard I clicked the star it would not open up the build menu.
From the pic it looks like he turtled on his home galaxy's star. So four starbases in one gravity well plus his titan. EDIT: IT would be awesome if his titan was a 'Has Rippled Phase Space' class titan.
its the wave but lets count the facts: there was one ship which survived the enemy and the crew gone insane. we know the run from self created terror. ... so. what can drive a vasaricrew insane ? by the way, why would a complete crew will go insane?
Oh, I can think of somehing...<
Well once I figured out hoe to play in offline mode it was fine, though its really annoying when I'm trying to reverse tab through my fleet ships to give upgrades or whatnot and the steam window pops up. Now the Gamestop (formerly impulse) downloader was a mystery. What good is it if I buy the game through your downloader client just to get a link to go download it from steam?
