Excellent, that saves me testing the different formats. for the Zombie Yes, the RaceLogos is a bad one. Which is why, like other parts of the UI, I remake the sheets. All the large icons go on a 1024x1024 sheet (RaceLogosLg) that can be DDS, the 3 other sets of small icons go on a 512x512 (RaceLogos) that remains TGA, and doing that saved me 2mb without even compressing and loads of empty space left on the small s

IMO, they should work with nVidia on it for Sins 2 (If that ever actually is made)
Oh please for the love of god let it come with model titans, so we can pick between whichever race/faction we prefer. I'd probably end up buying all 6 then lol
I tend to not care much because y'know, I'm playing a game which is meant to be fun and not a physics lesson.
Unless it's small amounts (ie. Like control with a Corsev or Advent control, maybe a bit stronger) then I'd say no as people could take advantage of massive amounts of resources and just have an uber fleet that can't really be easily beaten.
They probably changed it because of the TEC Loyalists getting the Twin Fortresses upgrade and Vasari being able to phase jump SBs.
2x-4x speed would be ridiculously useful for early-game. I tend to have to do a lot of sitting around and waiting while I need something built (And have nothing else ready) or gather resources, or even clear out planets of Militia.
goodgimp, you are incorrect. Whether a game can use one or more CPU cores is based off of whether the engine is 32 or 64-bit. I'll just leave this here.
It has nothing to do with it. They stuck with 32bit and Single core as that was predominant at the time, rather than making a 64bit version too (For extra RAM) and multi-core use. Want proof? Look at FSX and SupCom, FSX can use up to 256
Never have an issue with bombers as TEC myself. My friend tends to spam them and heavy cruisers, they're yet to do too much damage to me as I just build more flak frigates to begin with. Flak burst definitely needs more power though; it should be able to take out most of a fleet of Vasari bombers too.
We are working on a Collector's Edition for Rebellion that will be available direct only. Too soon to provide details or cost info on this yet.
If that Kol picture on facebook is anything to go by...
If they had more money? Sure. But they're not like EA or Valve with tonnes of cash to splash around. Even late-game games on huge multi-star maps work fine for me, on a 4.8Ghz FX-4170. Not 100+ hours (yet) but still, you get the picture. Sins 2 should definitely be made multi-threaded and at least have 64bit as an option. Still, this is why I like open source; some random could end up making a version that uses multiple cores on their own.
Planet stripping should take 5 minutes and essentially be seen as a big "Screw you" from the VL to everyone else. So they'd get neutral factions attacking them and give players a chance to as well. (Think like militia and/or pirates attacking with a largish fleet, maybe even a pirate capital ship)
I've been getting it consistently ever since I reformatted, and only on Rebellion. All of my other games (All 56 of them) run near perfectly. I'm definitely asking their customer support..I wanna play Vasari!
So, every time I go to launch or download/update Rebellion, Steam has a hissy fit and says that the servers are currently too busy to handle my request. I've deleted clientregistry.blob, managed to get the game to download 2-3 times and changed servers from the Internode-only one (Internode South Australia, Australia) to other random servers on the other side of the planet and nothing still works. Any ideas? I really want this fixed by the time the full game comes out.
well i did get it only to be let down, seriously who gives a dam about the advent anyway, sure they have a cool loyalist titan, but still.
I see what you posted, but it sounds like "I don't play advent so NO-ONE CARES ABOUT THEM!" I play advent quite a bit. Love taking over a Galaxy with nothing but balls and culture...
If it was anywhere near realistic, it'd be pretty OP as it'd be a "Kill everything, including yourself" button.
Nope. Would require an engine modification which is still not going to happen for Rebellion. Maybe for Sins 2.
...No, it wouldn't. It's merely a patch on the .exe that you can apply , and people have indeed applied to Trinity.
